Run, do not walk, away from this Verizon store! They get one very well deserved star — I don’t know if this is the worst place I’ve ever spent money, but nothing else from my memory bank is coming to me. If you do not believe in Murphy’s Law, keep reading. Here is a summary of our experience: *Despite previous feelings of dread for this place, we went to purchase a new galaxy S6 for my husband. Andrew helped us, the experience was OK, not great. Turned out to be worse when it came time to exchange the defective phone he sold us… I’ll explain why later. *Got the phone home and within 24 hours found selfies of store employees(they told us the phone was brand new, never touched) and the vibrate function was defective. *Go in next day to return phone, one poor lady working when there were 5 people in the store waiting to be helped(typical of this location), told us we could either drive 12 miles to get a new one or could come back on Thursday when they get a new shipment. *Turned out she had ordered a phone for us but didn’t put our name on it, just hers. We called a couple days later to see if they had an S6 shipment in, all the while being rudely interrupted trying to explain our situation before telling us yes we have one, just come in to get it. We come in to the store, and they say yes we have one but it’s reserved for someone else… as you might have guessed that was in fact our phone but they didn’t bother to call the sales rep who had ordered it to check. Why would you say you have a phone if it’s reserved for someone else anyway? *So we finally get it straight that that phone was ours, so we go to exchange the phone. Again, one guy working in there for several people in the store, luckily we got there first. My husband had kept all the stuff in the box(headphones, charger, etc) but had thrown away the box and cut the sleeve where the serial # is to send in the rebate. *This is where I nearly lost my mind… we offered to let them keep the box of the new phone since we threw ours away, but because we were lacking an in-tact SLEEVE we were charged a $ 20 restocking fee. The box sleeve. The piece of paper that covers the box of the DEFECTIVE phone they sold us. $ 20 plus tax. The guy helping us called the manager to no avail, they passed the charge on to us. He said that buried in the contract language somewhere there is something about a 14 day trial period where you should not throw away the box, not cut up the sleeve to send in the rebate until you know the phone is OK. So, in short, the onus is on you to make sure the product is good. If you figure out too late that it has a defect or your dog chews up the 20 cent box… you better be ready to pay up. He said he usually gives a blurb about this kind of thing when phones are sold but the guy who sold us the phone literally said nothing like that(ergo the comment from the top where I said the initial sale/interaction was OK but learned later it should’ve been way more informative). I did have a customer service rep call me in order to air my grievances and he said he would pass the information to the store manager, but based on our interaction with the manager about the sleeve I’m going to guess he will not really care very much. If for some ungodly reason I do not find a way to leave Verizon in the very near future, at least one thing is certain: I will never set foot in this Verizon store again and will do my best to make sure everyone knows about our experience in order to save others the pain and just utter lack of concern for customers that we experienced.

A joke, purchased an iphone, said they were all about the sale and not service to contact Apple. Okay bought another iphone, messed up the unlimited data program called me at 4:00 in the morning stating my international minutes were about to run out, really? Let me wake up so I can scream something not so nice in your ear, at least I had an email address of the person who set up the international plan. Emailed her, oops she made a mistake and overcharged me and should not have woken me out of a stupor. Still no credit to the account. Then my spouse goes to make a change to his data package(3 weeks ago), he is the CEO of the company that he owns, get this they won’t talk to him unless I’m with him, what??? I’m a spouse on his business account, not planning on divorcing him, so what gives? Have to mail them a verified letter stating it is okay for both of us to be on the account, did not ask us that 10 years ago. Do we have to put them in our wills too? Who is paying their bill each month, duh? Absurd, when will they pull their heads out? Would like to absolve myself from any connection with these folks, biggest ripoff to have utilize their services. Give me a tin can and a very long string.

Best Prices, Best selection and you don’t even have to wait in line to speak with a sales rep. If your in the market for a new Verizon Wireless cell phone, home phone or internet service then this is the place to be!
