I ordered grilled pineapple and it was terrible. It was overprice but should be worth it if they even make it a food. They put the pineapple in the grill just to get all the grease then serve with cinnamon. It was so cold. i though I can just clean it but it was terrible. And I’m the kind of person who like everything and eat everything. A total waste of money. I throw it(I’m jobless so food is important to me but yak!)

Absolutely awesome service, great food and variety, reasonable prices and best of all, the best host ever. We had them over for a party in November 2015 and they really did a fantastic job! we will be using them again for sure. They went above and beyond the catering service and gave all our guests a wonderful experience. We loved them for their authenticity and super yummy food.

Didn’t find the place. Location provided in Unilocal yields to a commercial building. Asked security guard about food truck, and unable to assist. Wasted my lunch time. Do not bother

The food at Churrasco Truck has an awesome variety of subs. The reputation of authentic Brazilian food is well deserved. The different steaks and meats in the subs are prime. A host of other options like fries, plantains, pineapple, and multiple drinks offering something for everyone. Also all the staff members there welsomed me with politeness, smiles and quick service. I would recommend the Churrasco Truck to anyone with a taste for some mouth watering steak. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Nice family owned Brazilian sandwich truck. Food was good, fries were a little hard but with the toppings were great. I’m not a big mayo-mustard, condiments person so I usually have a hard time finding a food truck that isn’t sauce dominant. These guys got me in and out though, so give it a try. It’ll be worth it.

The meat lovers sandwich was good but overpriced at $ 14 in my opinion. I ate it right away but it wasn’t hot — was about room temperature. It would’ve been a lot better if it was served hot! Check in for $ 1 off a sandwich. I didn’t do this until after I paid — oh well!

Ordered house special picanha and it was okay. We split it between us and I only ate 1⁄3 of it. The bread was not crunchy and the meat was diced up extremely small. The flavor was good until pieces of nerve started appearing after each 4th bite. We love good quality meat and have eaten at many Brazilian restaurants. Unfortunately at a $ 12 it did not fare well in ranking. The sandwich was dressed though It did not impress in taste. It is more of a low mid-range sandwich and perhaps closer amount to $ 9.5 is better suited. Did it full-fill it’s mission in search of a snack? No It did not. However we quickly walked over to PJ’s across the street and forgot our hasty decision about eating at Churrascos. On the plus side, service is swift and pleasant. They take all forms of payment. They have a variety of drinks including mineral water and plantains are good!

We’ve had Oscar and his truck at my son’s school fall festival for 3 years in a row. Great food!

Great Brazilian fare on the Houston food truck scene! Picked them up on one of their days at Greenstreet Downtown, 1201 Main. The Meatlovers Brazilian Sandwich was very good. Top sirloin, parmesan pork sirloin, and Brazilian sausage, fresh chimichurri sauce and vinaigrette, lettuce, tomato and red onion on a crusty French roll. Plus slices of fresh avocado for $ 1 more. Pricey at $ 15, but delicious. Find out where they are daily at

Good food, kind of pricey but I get how it can be on markup running a food truck. I got the House Special Picanha sandwich($ 12). The meat was flavored well and the bread tasted fresh. I was asked if I wanted cheese and avocado and said yes not realizing it’s a $ 1 extra for each… nor was I told that. Should’ve paid more attention I guess, overall 4⁄5.

I’m a big fan of South American meat so I was excited to see a Brazilian food truck. I went with the sausage sandwich which comes with coleslaw salad for $ 10. Rather than a full sausage, the sandwich consisted of chopped up sausage which was definitely less than a full sausage. This was disappointing and overpriced at $ 10. The meat was good and cooked well but I was expecting more for the price range.

Om Nom Nom NOMNOMNOMNOM. I am typically not a sandwich gal but if I could get these people to make all my sandwiches for me I would be one happy lady. I got the pork sandwich with avocado on top. The meat was so moist and juicy and the bread pulled it all together. The sauce that they poured on top brought out the flavor in the meat. A little pricey but oh so worth it. My only complaint was that I had to pay an extra $ 1 for 3 tiny slices of avocado and they were already semi brown.

Meat meat meat! Their dishes are loaded with meat. I’ve tried this food truck twice. First time I had the meat lovers sandwich(sausage, pichana, skirt steak, and some kind of pork, I don’t remember exactly), was a little on the salty side for me. The second time I got the skirt steak sandwich which was delicious! The steak was not overcooked, flavorful and tender. I also like that they keep their dishes simple. Lots of food trucks like to pile of crazy sauces which takes away from the main ingredients.

Had Churrasco Truck for lunch today. I ordered the sausage sandwich and got a bottled coke. You know… the good kind of coke that is made in Mexico in the Medio Litro bottle. I thought the price was a little bit high, but I had read good reviews so I tried to overlook that. My total for a coke and a sausage sandwich was $ 13. The menu said that the sandwich was $ 10 alone, but the drink prices weren’t listed. Not sure if I would have paid $ 3 for a drink, but at this point I’m happy I didn’t know because I may have put it back and I enjoyed the drink. After I ordered it did take a bit for my food to be ready. Longer that I felt like it should have taken. It was almost like they weren’t ready for service. After waiting a good bit… my food was ready. The sausage sandwich looked and smelled good. From what I understand they make their own sausage, it looked like it wasn’t over filled with fat and you could even see the spices in it. Right after my first bite I was sold. It was very good. The ONLY complaint about the sandwich that I have is… I wish the sausage was warmer. I loved the slaw that they used on it. It was a refreshing element to the sausage. Made it seem not so heavy. They also OVERLOADED it with sausage. They were not skimpy ATALL. No wonder it was a ten dollar sandwich. The bread was very good as well. It held up really well next to this stuffed meat sandwich. The bread was also fresh and flaky. All and all it was a good experience. I think that maybe they could be a bit more organized but other than that… I’d give them another shot.

Have been following Oscar and his crew for a few years now. I’ve always wanted to get my co-workers to try picanhas, without having the time to go to an actual churrascaria. Churrasco Truck is a delicious way to get a bit of home in a hurry! They even let me know when they’re in the area so that I can plan lunch accordingly. There’s nothing I would change about them.

Delicious food! at a fraction of the price you would pay at a Brazilian restaurant. I highly recommend picanha(or rump cap) –connoisseurs preference. A great concept, food is cooked in the authentic ‘gaucho’ way. The crew is efficient and friendly. I am planning on chasing the truck again very soon!

What’s with the negative reviews? I’ve been to this truck a half dozen times(that says a lot cause I’m trying to try all 5,0 trucks in Houston). The people are friendly, their food is delicious and fresh. Love love love it! Gaucho fries and meat lovers sandwich? Yes please!!!

Tasty steak sandwiches from a food truck. CT is a popular downtown Farmers Market eatery. My coworkers were in line for the creperie, so I knew I had some time. There are at least 10 – 15 businesses that show-up for the Farmer’s Market, but the line for the Churrasco Truck is usually the longest. It seems that everyone wants a steak sandwich. After waiting for a good 15 minutes, I was at the front of the line. I ordered a Meatlovers, which has three different meats: beef steak, pork, and sausage. The sandwich was served on a bolillo roll and was tasty. I had it with avocados, american cheese, tomatoes, and onions. The nice thing about the wait was that once you make it to the front of the line, you only have to wait a few minutes for your food after ordering. I would definitely order the meatlovers again, but there are other sandwiches I would also like to try. Worth a stop.

The City Hall Farmer’s market is back!!! and this was the first place I hit last week. I was actually looking for the Brazillian stand(unfortunately not there — and please forgive me forgetting the name of it). Instead my coworker and I settled for Churrasco Truck. I had seen them last year but never got a chance to eat there. First off, we got there a little early so some of the meats weren’t ready(not their fault at all) but really a tip for everyone. Next the sandwiches: My coworker initially wanted the Parmesan Pork Tenderloin but unfortunately the wait would have been 15 min so he went with the Brazillian Sausage. Overall it looked good and he did enjoy it.
