Do I really need to review Cici’s??? Yeah… I like to review everything~ My mommy had a coupon to go to Cici’s and my sister for some reason had been wanting to go so off to Cici’s we went. Apparently according to my sister’s friend this Cici’s is more«ghetto» than other Cici’s but… really? Aren’t all Cici’s Pizza Buffets below par?! This is NOT where you go for good pizza but this is where you go for«pizza». Does that make sense? It’s quantity over quality guys and it’s a cheap place to get your carb fix. My mom had a coupon for 2 people and 2 drinks at a total of $ 10.00 so it’s definitely one of those places to take your kids out for the cheap if your wallet is empty. The place is clean sanitary wise, filled with some interesting people, and the people that work here are actually hard-working and nice. If you don’t see a pizza available out on the buffet that you’re craving or if you just want a fresh one, TELLTHEM! I did and with no attitude, she popped in the spinach and white cheese one through the oven and 5 minutes later it came out piping hot, for me, at my request. Nice service, no attitude, quick, but again this place is… QUANTITYOVERQUALITY. (And that should be expected)

As I walked into this location, I realized I haven’t been in a Cici’s Pizza Parlor in Years! Have I just boarded an invisible time machine to the 90s? To think when the concept of a pizza buffett was introduced it was — – sooo cool, and we couldn’t wait to dine at Cici’s Pizzeria. The enthusiasm for the ideas has declined, and I’ve seen a few locations open and then close. The Price My buffet and water rang up for about $ 5.00 Not bad. It makes it comparable to fast food or Subway sandwiches. As I stood by the register I saw a deal where 3 pizzas could be purchased for $ 9.00, and I was surprised. Who would have thought that there is fresh made pizza for less than $ 5 a pop. It’s tempting to remember this detail when planning another pizza party. The Pizza It’s thinner than other chain pizza types. The dough is simple. The crust is nice balance between soft and chewy. It’s nice to have a smorgasborg of pizza flavors to choose from. You don’t have to narrow it down to just one type of pizza. I had cheese pizza, pepperoni, and pepperoni with jalapeño. Cici’s is far from authentic Italian pizza, but it’s tasty and satisfies the craving for pizza. The Pasta The noodles and sauce are separate so you can mix and match your pasta dish to your preferences. For me, I thought the noodles just looked terrible sitting in water, the edges kind of looked strange. What would Gordon Ramsey say?! You shouldn’t let fresh food wither away — waiting to be served. The food snob in me, skipped the pasta. The Play Area I had forgotten about this element too. There’s like a minature arcade in the back, so after you stuff yourself from the all-your-jeans-can-strech-to-fit pizza buffet you can attempt to play a game. The Portion One of the things I admire about CiCi’s is that the nutrition information is on the website. I could easily estimate how many calories I’d consume if I had a meal there. Per slice, the pizza tends to be lower in calories than other pizza makers. The idea that pizza can be healthy if it’s paired with a heaping salad definitely reasonates with me, since I never want to ban pizza entirely from my diet. Like all things– in moderation is best. The Salad The main salad bowl is a mix of iceberg lettuce, red cabbage, and other little tidbits that didn’t quite stand out. To the left are extra veggies you can add like: onions, carrots, tomatoes, mushrooms, and croutons. Then there are the salad dressings. The thousand island dressing was pretty tasty! The Service My cashier was nice, and she rang up my order fairly quickly. All in all, it was a good experience. My lunch experience was positive.
