Great place to go after a long work week to pick up or enjoy a great cigar! Everyone there is knowledgeable and kind. I take all my visitors that smoke there for the experience and quality products.

I come in to the store with my phone on finishing a business conversation on regular hours, the people inside was probably redy to close(11,30 am) and I was told to leave the store to finish my conversation. The way I was welcome to that place was degrading and insulting. I decide to leave on my on and not placing any order for my just born granddaughter celebration. This people need a CLASSLESSON. I will not recommend this place to my friends

Not a fan. The cigars at CFHdC are some of the worst I’ve smoked and things get even worse when you factor in the price. I bought a few of their«best»(see my pics) which I couldn’t pickup any discernible flavor from. I’m sorry to be rude, but if CFHdC is trying to master the art of making the zero enjoyment, zero flavored cigars that also have burn issues, they nailed it. I have a feeling these cigars are just a major rollers unbranded bottom of the line sticks coming out of Nicaragua that CFHdC slaps a band on and passes them off as their own. However, I know if I ever put out a product as bad as this I’d be embarrassed to have my name associated with it.

The cigars this place sells are horrible. Myself and four other people(two who manage a cigar shop) tried several different cigars made here. Most of their stock are their personal brands with bands that poorly mimic the big Cuban companies. All of them were bitter lacking flavor and made Helix seem like Opus X. One cigar(with a Cohiba Siglo like band) smelled like used gym socks when lit and was none of us could get past the first inch of a 7 in. Churchill. One of my friends decided maybe they just needed some aging, but a bit over a year in a well kept locker and they were still THEWORSTCIGARS I’VEEVERHAD. Though store owner said he used Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco, he also touted his«special» and«mystery» tobacco source(which is most likely code for cheep Mexican tobacco scraps). The prices are ridiculous for these cigars. I do have one good thing say about this guy’s cigars which is they are very well rolled, but that only goes so far.

How to put this without a problem? I smoke the best cigars in the world and only occasionally do I try«domestic products» and very rarely I find one that tastes halfway acceptable. Surprised I was. These guys have a knack for the balance of flavors between the Nicaraguan, D.R. and mystery source leaves, that makes me want to try more than the single sample I got at the BBQ cook-off last February. More than shocking is that they are located right here in Houston.
