Cindie’s

I hardly EVER leave reviews for anything, and if I do they are not negative but I am very bummed to say I was EXTREMELY disappointed with my experience shopping at this Cindie’s. I originally went in for some bachelorette party goodies but decided to go ahead and pick out a vibrator for myself (which I had never done before — an ex got me one as a surprise and when we broke it off I left it with him). There was one SUPER friendly employee who guided me in the direction of prices, but I ended up at the register with at least 5 vibrators looking forward to somewhat «expert» opinion (s) to help me pick out my very first vibrator to purchase on my own. Instead of any ‘fun’ banter or absolutely any direct answers to my questions, the woman who I am assuming was the manager, just put batteries into the vibrators I had picked and let me feel each one with a look of pure annoyance and impatience on her face. And when I asked basic questions like «which one would you say has the highest reviews or what would you all personally recommend», I got nothing but flat answers like «it just depends what you want».
Not only that but the first thing I was told when I entered the store was that I could try on any of the lingerie pieces as long as they were not boxed and when I ended up asking to try two pieces on, the same manager woman awkwardly and reluctantly let me into the dressing room. And then followed to knock on the dressing room door and bluntly ask «everything going okey in there???» I have worked in boutiques and completely understand having to be aware of what individuals could be doing in the dressing rooms, and I am SURE people go into these more kinky shops and do weird things in the dressing rooms but I am simply a very indecisive person and YES I wanted to send a picture to my boyfriend to see which item he liked best. I ended up walking out of the dressing room apologizing and looking back I have no clue why.
I would also like to add that I heard the employees bash talk a customer after she walked out so loudly and inappropriately. I can only imagine what they said when I left?
All in all it’s safe to say I will not be returning to that Cindie’s in particular. I walked out of there spending $ 80.00 and just got home to discover they did not even remove the store security tag on the chemise I purchased. I appreciated the one very accommodating and friendly employee but the rest of the staff were unpleasant in a store they themselves ranted «should be a FUN experience» as they laughed off that other customer who previously walked out.
