Correll Jewelers

I have used Correll Jewelers over the past 4 years & have had nothing but a pleasant experience with this family run business. I have not bought any jewelry from them but I have had several heirloom items repurposed & was quite satisfied with the results & cost. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

We walked in looking for an appraisal on a ring I’d had for several years. A previous jeweler who doesn’t buy jewelery gave me a wide estimate range so I knew what to expect. The salesman was on his phone lamenting about either a court case or lawsuit he wasn’t intending on showing up to and we stood there for a few minutes in awkward silence while he talked on the phone.
No lights on in his sparsely filled cases of small pieces. It was a dark, quiet store and smelled stale and old. He took a 2 second look at my ring and offered less than half of the low range of what the other jeweler appraised it at. Then he told me quite bluntly that my ring is a dime a dozen and no one would be interested in it unless he melted it down and remade it. Very uninterested in helping us. We thanked him and left; two days later we went to another jeweler and he gave us a better, reasonable price for the ring, even on the low end.
Won’t go back, not just because of the offer, but the lack of quality pieces in the store he had on display and the poor professionalism of his conversation.

Correll Jewelers made the original wedding set for my wife over 20 years ago. Then when I finally had enough money to get my wife «The Big One» I went back to them for help. The result was a beautiful 2K princess solitaire that has such great quality and brilliance, it commands attention wherever my wife goes.
Correll’s was so easy to work with and so fair on the price, I recommend them to others all the time.
