CORT Furniture Clearance Center

Close to my house, I got a table for my daughter’s room and a few kitchen utensils and bathroom stuff for cheap. Planning to go back with my husband very soon.

I had a fantastic experience with Cort today. I had previously rented furniture from them when I first moved to Houston and when it was time to buy furniture I wanted similar stuff. Cort’s furniture is very high end though and pricey if bought new. I bought similar furniture for a lower price somewhere else and ended up hating it. I hated the color, the dimensions, the quality. Basically I’m a creature of habit and wanted my old rental furniture.
I looked on Cort’s website and saw that the coffee and end table were available at this location as well as the TV stand. I was also able to print out a $ 50 coupon from the website. When I got to the store, the TV stand was not on display, but the helpful man found some in the back and brought one out. It was a little damaged so he told me he’d send another one.
I bought the TV stand and coffee and side table. He called an independent contractor to pick up the furniture and deliver it to me for $ 75. It was good because I had no way of transporting it and little old me can’t lift any of the furniture up the stairs. Within a few hours, the furniture was set up in my apartment. I couldn’t believe how fast and easy it was. The furniture looks basically new and I’m so happy I went to Cort.

This is a great place to buy nice, slightly used furniture to cheaply and quickly furnish an apartment. CORT rents out mid to high end new furniture, and then after it’s been rented once it does to this Clearance Center to sell. The furniture tends to be barely used (price depends on the condition of the furniture, but nothing I saw was in poor condition). I got a solid-​wood bedroom set (headboard, dresser, nightstand, mirror) for just a few hundred books. This is nicer than the stuff you can get at IKEA, and you don’t need to put it together yourself. The only downside is that the selection may be limited depending on your price range and preferences, but if you’re not too picky on what you’re looking for, you can get a great deal.
Note: I believe this location also has their regular furniture for rent as well, but I did not visit that part.
