When I hear people say«I need to get in shape before I try crossfit», I laugh. There is no getting in shape before. Crossfit challenges you to help make you better and reach your goals. CFBT is fantastic in that the coaches work with you to find suitable work for your level. What makes CFBT so great is the community. Everyone is working hard regardless of how much weight they move. Some are better at pull-ups, some at running, others at power movements. Regardless if you’re a gym rat, corp 9−5er, or middle aged and trying to keep up with the grand kids; CFBT will help you to meet your goals. I feel like CFBT is my extended family. We work hard together and even play hard together as well — 5k’s, charity bike rides, weekend meet ups for volley ball and kicking back a few. I recommend everyone I know to join CrossFit, especially CrossFit Big & Tiny!

I have been working out here since December of 2012 and I would recommend it to anyone! Joining when the business just started, I was a little worried that it might not have everything that an established box has, however I was wrong. Crossfit Big & Tiny has become like a second family. Everyone here is so encouraging and supportive. We are all struggling through the same hard workouts together and the cheering and support of the other members is what gets me through them most days! I have seen a great improvement in my strength and changes in my physical appearance. There are even monthly social events so everyone can get to know each other outside of the gym! The coaches here are extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Whether it be a question about a sore muscle, something you want to work on extra after class, or even something going on in your life, they are always available. Being new to Crossfit I did not know the movements and workouts. They took time to explain each one(sometimes multiples times), and are very involved during the workouts providing guidance, so you do it right, and most importantly don’t hurt yourself. Even if you aren’t confident with a movement, they will scale the weights to work on your technique rather than forcing you to do more weight incorrectly. They have all the equipment you would expect at a Crossfit box(weights, bars, boxes, bands, ropes, rowing machine, jump ropes, etc.) and classes are small so there is no waiting or sharing. If you want a workout that will push your limits and force you to improve, combined with great people, amazing coaches, and a positive atmosphere, I would suggest you give Crossfit Big & Tiny a try!
