Incident 1: had to come back 5 times before I was able to get my prescription, my doctor had to call them. They keep saying they have filled but they do not even have it in stock. Incident 2: just had a surgery my doctor sent a prescription for pain, they said they do not have it, they sent me to another store. i went to the other store they said they do not have it eithee. The rude pharmacist did not even bother to check if it is on stock at the other store before he sent me there. Incidenr 2: they promised my prescription will be ready in an hour, I came two days later and still not ready. I am switching pharmacy!!!

I have had so many problems what this CVS Pharmacy on South Gessner. They are the worst store I’ve ever dealt with. I had surgery and went to get a prescription for pain again I had surgery the dumb woman tells me it’s going to take a week for me to fill a prescription because it was a narcotic and they were out. I was told I need it to get up and go to each and every cvs to find out if they carried it. If I could walk I still wouldn’t have gone to every CVS store in Houston Texas to find out if they had a prescription. I’m not a drug addict I’m a customer trying to get a prescription filled. If I could rate them a zero I would. The pharmacist Stephanie is not helpful at all she’s rude and didn’t give a damn about me. It’s not as if I don’t have insurance but I do.

Most CVS pharmacy’s that I have used are great. This one is horrible. Let me count the ways… 1. The store’s floor is nasty most times. 2. The pharmacy employees are pretty friendly, but seem incompetent. 3. There are a couple of guys that run the register near the door, and their customer service skills suck. 4. Yesterday, it took my husband and me 3 trips to actually get our medicine. 5. I’d say 95% of the time that I’ve used this pharmacy, I can’t get my medicine until I’ve come back several times.

Can Unilocal please have no stars? ABSOLUTEWORSECUSTOMERSERVICEEVER! Store manager, his name is Tom, is the worse. He gave me nasty looks and yelled at me, because I asked them why they wouldn’t honor a price of a product that THEYPOSTED online on their CVS website. He handled the situation poorly and it reflects on him as a store manager. Yelling at the customer is definitely not the way to handle the situation. CVS please do yourself a favor and FIRE your useless, rude, arrogant, pompous manager. He has no people skills and I’m sure no leadership skills as well. Please go shop somewhere else. I look at CVS with disgust in my eyes. Ugh!

The worst pharmacy. Probably the location. More than 3.5 hours to fill the prescription. No sense of urgency when the customer is in pain. I got my wisdom tooth pulled and had to wait over 3.5 hours before I get any medication.

This is an «ok» CVS. A while back I came to pick up my meds from the pharmacy, and the pharmacist was so rude to me because I did not speak«Ebo»?(The Nigerian language). I literally could not understand her directions on the medicine and she was rude! She made some comments about me speaking English! I’m not racist, but I think this was so uncalled for and now I avoid this place any chance I get. Other than that, CVS serves it’s purpose as a quick pharmacy to local neighborhoods and that’s it. I would not recommend shopping at one, since prices here are a tad bit high!

Anyone rated CVS5 stars in 3 sentences is obviously fake. CVS Pharmacy has a lot to offer. This store never closes. It opens 24÷7÷365. The dedicated staff works every hour of the day helping customers in the general store area and at the 24-hour pharmacy. I shop there every Thanksgiving Day, Christmas day and New Year’s eve for some minor necessities, when other stores were closed. To those of you without a Unilocal app, here are my tips about this CVS: — Maneuver in this already busy parking lot is a challenge, either coming or going. Delivery trucks always park on the Beechnut side of store around 1 pm during weekday. — Check the price at the price checker prior to check out. It may surprise you if you tried to use the coupons with restrictions. — I often get a mile-long coupon from the Extra Care Coupon Center(a.k.a. price checker). My recommendation is… don’t throw it in the trash, recycle it. — Check the expiration date on the packages, including prescription drugs before leaving the pharmacy counter. — Not recommended to shop for good wines here, except in the case of emergency. — Store is fairly safe at night. There is always a security guard at night. So, don’t stir up trouble. This store has improved over the years. That’s what prompted me to write a review. I believe the roadway improvement will make this store even better. The city is finally building left-turn lanes from Gessner to Beechnut and vice versa.

I call this location Club CVS. The reason is, on Friday and Saturday night this place is jumping like any club in the city. You can sit ouside and watch the women that walk up to the Redbox. I’m wondering why are you dressed up to get a few movies from the Redbox. I’ve seen hookups take place. Folks from all walks of life show up at this place. This location is truly great for people watching. Great thing about it is, I don’t see the riff raff mess going on outside like you see at the other locations. Although it is in front of the bus stop at South Gessner and Bissonet. On top of that CVS offers alot of great products. Long time CVS card holder and use it regularly. They are out of sexual protection quite frequently. So pick those up elsewhere.
