I had a hard time finding a new hair salon in th area. A few people recommended D&B and I’m super happy with my results! Jennifer did amazing color on my highlights and Hanna did the cutest cut I’ve had a really long time. I am super happy with this place. I will definitely be returning again and again. PS. Who else offers free wash and blowouts any day any time?!? D&B is awesome!

Newer to Houston, I’ve struggled to find a hair salon or stylist that I like. The prices in the city are astronomical so I was on a hunt for something reasonable.
Referred by my friend, I drove from Montrose to this salon, a trip I do not regret.
Megan did my color and Jess did my cut. I’m super happy with the results, their customer service and the price. I’ll be back!

I love this salon! I found them on Google and called for a hair cut– the receptionist got me in the same day. Shannon cut my hair and did exactly what I wanted. I left loving my hair when I was dreading another stylist cutting off too much or giving me some awkward bangs. I told her I wanted to do color and she referred me to Megan. I went in the next day and Megan mixed up the most amazing color for me. Everyone I saw in there was getting some fabulous cut or color from a stylist. From the front desk to the procedure to the conversation, I had a second amazing experience. Everyone is pleasant, the salon feels inviting and casually upscale, it was ridiculously reasonably priced. This is truly a wonderful salon and I recommend it 100%!

I don’t know why they have extensions under their bio… They couldn’t even cut my extensions because they were too scared of messing up since she wasn’t «experienced» and I waited 45 minutes just to be told they couldn’t do the job even though I was told they could. Horrible place; and prices are extremely over priced.

Listen, this place is pricey. I’m going to tell you that upfront, but after having previously spent time and money on a cut and color that I absolutely hated, it is absolutely worth it to me to pay for what I really want.
They are all very professional here. When you walk in you’re greeted immediately and once you’re all checked in, they offer you a drink while you wait for your stylist/​colorist. Oh, that’s another thing. They have stylists and they have colorists; you won’t get one person who does both. They are trained up and specialize in one or the other.
Meghan is awesome! I have gotten my color done by her a total of three times and all three times the color was amazing! And on top of that, on my second visit, she was asking me about things I had brought up in conversation from my first visit! I have no idea how she remembered me, but it was definitely an added bonus and it made me feel like they truly value each customer. On this second visit, I wanted something new and while I had a bit of a freak-​out moment because it was so different from what I was used to, I eventually got past the initial shock and ended up loving it! So much so, I just had it done again yesterday. She knows what she is doing. And just by looking at the work of the others, I can tell they all do!
I had a cut done by Brittany and my daughter had a cut done by Vinnie. They both came out great. I truly feel like I can walk in and let anyone touch my hair and walk out loving it. Also, they offer free shampoo and blow dry service when they have someone available, which is pretty awesome.

Got my hair balayage done by Dannie. It looked amazing and the environment is nice! So happy with my hair, they also styled it very cute :)

In high school, I only went to Toni & Guy, but after a few years, some of the stylists left and started their own salon, Damsels & Blokes. I have trusted them with my hair since I was 15, I am now 28. I think that is some serious loyalty! They have a new location open now on 290, and it’s just as amazing! Make sure you visit Danni for color & Vinnie for cut. The price can be a little steep, but you really pay for what you get. You will NOT be disappointed! I usually just go in, tell them what I want, and trust that they know exactly what they’re doing, and guess what? THEY always do! If you recommended friends & family you will receive discounts as well, so make sure you do! :)

Everything about Damsels & Blokes Salon is professional! From the reception area, stylists areas, shampoo area and color bar! Uptown quality work and stylists in the Northwest/​Jersey Village/​Cypress area! Meagan is the best ;)
