I was referred to this location to get my nails. I was so tired of going to the chop shops who use poor quality products that will have u come in every week –_​_​_​–
I didn’t have any problems finding it. I love the name it’s a great conversation starter. When I walked in I was greeted by one of the owners who let the nail tech I was here. I was immediately seen by Trina. She provided me A1 service. The products she used actually had the name of what she was using and I loved the fact she did not use a drill not once on my nails. Say what?! That’s a first. I got an overlay (acrylic over my natural nails, no tips where added) the acrylic didn’t gave off that strong fumes either. She was nice and friendly. I was quite pleased & will return as soon as I need too!!! Thanks Trina.

My last hair stylist was in the Montrose area. There was limited parking and she raised her prices and didn’t tell me instead she spent 3 hours on my hair. And as I left my last appointment with her I was met with a $ 40 parking ticket.
So if you are looking for a new hair stylist with experience, great affordable prices, great customer service and plenty of parking then I recommend Dan from Dan Phyls Salon, 9999 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77 042, (713) 780‑8424. I paid $ 90.00 for a shampoo, cut & style and gray roots retouch (my hair length is above the shoulders). I arrived early for my appointment so that I could find pictures for my haircut. Everyone was really nice. There is such a fun relaxed feel to this salon. You can tell they have a lot of regulars. The hair color technician did such a great job on my color and shampoo. It was very enjoyable the way a salon should feel. And even though technically I was describing the wrong hair cut, Dan looked at the pictures and gave me the haircut I wanted anyway. So, I walked away a happy camper. He is fun, knowledgeable and a genuinely nice person. I’m so glad I found this salon and no more parking tickets for me!

Dan is extremely rude during my most recent visit. I heard him yelling at customers of the Rio restaurant about parking near his salon. He doesn’t have specific parking spots nor does he have signs stating parking is for his customers only. His behavior was unprofessional and rude. I won’t be returning after hearing him talk.
