Dockray Lee R, MD

My son has been seeing Dr. Dockray for more than 10 years. He’s always taken good care of my most precious thing.
Dr. Dockray is a very no-​nonsense type, rarely cracks a convincing smile and in my opinion, is not a big fan of parents but my son digs him so I’m happy. I presume many parents pay more attention to their phones than their kid when they’re in the exam rooms which is enough to turn anyone sour so I guess I can’t blame him.
I’ve had very long waits for appointments and other days he’s been able to see my son within 10 minutes of calling (like in the emergency we had today) so all in all, typical Dr’s office. He’s got a great staff. :)

Dr. Dockray and his staff are great. We have 3 children who have been patients of his for many years. We have always been treated with the utmost care and concern. Dr. Dockray is very good at answering all of my questions and taking the time to help me feel better when I’m anxious about my child’s diagnosis. Winnie is an exceptional nurse who has gone above and beyond for our family.

A friend recommended Dr Dockray to us for my daughter as we were new to Houston and my daughter was showing signs of an ear infection. I often find with medical offices the staff is just as important as the Dr, and they are both great, especially Barbara. They ALWAYS call you back and are kind, understanding and flexible. Plus they are conservative with antibiotics. Highly reccomended.

Dr. Lee Dockray has been my daughter’s pediatrician for over 5 years. He and his staff have been happily watching my daughter grow bigger and stronger since she was 3 years old.
Every minor emergency or well visit, I have been able to see Dr. Dockray, not a myriad of doctors in a large clinic. I love knowing that the people there remember my daughter. The last time we were in they even noticed that she got her hair cut.
We went through a few doctors for her general care when we first got to Houston but Dr. Dockray has been such a winner, we’re glad we found him. He and his staff go above and beyond for their patients and make sure that you know exactly what is going on and how to best stay on top of any health care issues.
A wonderful solo practice by a great doctor — I recommend him to everyone that lives in this area.
