— Very disorganized staff. When I needed to transfer records between doctors, Bueso’s staff disagreed with each other about necessary procedures and different people gave me conflicting answers. To make it more frustrating, each person I talked to denied that the other person would suggest different processes, so I wasted hours trying to appeal to different people who all had different ideas about how to transfer lab work. — He regularly runs 1 – 3 hours late. I had five appointments with him, each scheduled at least three months in advance. Each time, he ran 1 – 3 hours late. If you schedule in the morning, you will wait three hours. If you schedule very close to the end of the day, you will probably have the shortest wait time at a little over an hour. Staff was not responsive to questions about the wait time. — Poor bedside manner: He told me in June 2014 that he ruled out prolactinoma(a type of brain tumor that causes increased prolactin levels) as a possibility based on an MRI. Months later, he told an intern(right in front of me) that I probably currently have a prolactinoma that was too small to see on the MRI. This possibility was never discussed with me before he told that other doctor with me in the same room, seven months later. Two other doctors disagreed with him, as a fresh lab test(my first in nearly several months) showed that my prolactin levels had returned to normal, ruling out prolactinoma. — Since others have noted lots of tests/medication: While I’m not one to disagree with what a doctor prescribes, I did notice that my new endocrinologist took me off two of the three prescriptions he put me on.
