D’s Nails

They answer the phone on Mondays, Unilocal says they’re open on Mondays, so you drive to the business and you walk up to their door and their business hours on the door says that they’re open on Mondays at 10 am, you pull on the door and it’s locked… on a Monday. You look in and see the lights off on a Monday. You call them back a second time and they inform you only then that they are closed on Mondays and to come back Tuesday… nope…

I’m not a fan of getting my nails done but I came here to get my eye brows waxed. Despite the crowded parking lot, the salon was empty. They took me right away. The young lady that worked on my eyebrows did a great job! I have very thick and bushy brows, if they are not waxed often. She took her time and thinned out my brows while making sure to keep them looking the same.
Only negative that I can write is that they have a $ 10 minimum on credit cards. That did not bother me because I tipped her the rest of the money, but I know that might bother some people. So, just thought I should include that in my review.
My eyebrows look great and I will be back

Went to this shop on a recommendation of an associate. Got there about 5:40 pm. The nail tech took her time and did a decent job on my pedicure. When it came time to do my nails the service went south. I asked for a Shellac Manicure. The lady said I didn’t need one, just a color change. Two different techs worked on each hand. I got a light color it required 3 coats, they only did two. While in the process of packing up their belongings. My nails are shaped at a slant. Polish peeling from improper application. I will never return here again. Horrible rush job! I grow my natural nails to be taken care of!

I was so looking forward to going here after reading reviews and getting a referral from a friend and I am sorely disappointed. The prices were about average but my shellac manicure looks like a 3 year old did my nails. They are very stripey and I can see where every brush stroke went. I can see where the top coat ends on the sides of my nail and I can see where they did the top line. They actually did a 3^rd coat on my thumbs because «nails are not flat.» It made it worse. They removed this color from teh ones they are going to offer everyone after me but did not offer to redo my nails or give me a discount.
My pedicure was fine. I did not like the color and they did not do one nail then ask but I survived. I removed the color in less than a week though. Did not feel like it was anything special.
I will never go back though becuase of the horrible shellac polish used.

I honestly don’t know how this place doesn’t have more reviews! It’s a great location between jamba juice and chipotle.
First of all, it’s not the fanciest of nail salons like some I’ve been to, but I think they do a better job here than some of the nicer looking salons.
I went here to get acrylic tips, but I wanted stiletto nails so I also brought in a picture to show them what exact shape I wanted. My manicurist looked the shape and did an excellent job. She took her time, didn’t rush, and made sure that she covered my nails in polish, not leaving any bare spots. She was probably the most genuine person I’ve had my nails done from. (She didn’t ask any nosey questions like some manicurists will ask you).
Most nail salons I’ve been to will try and push me multiple times to get something more expensive, but my manicurist listened to what I wanted and didn’t try to upcharge me.
The only bad thing about this place is that it’s hard to find parking because of the shopping strip it’s in. Surrounding it is ihop, jamba juice, chipotle, and starbucks. I went around lunch time so that’s probably why it was so busy. Other than that, I’ll definitely be back here again!

Not really impressed by the fill I got. But the pedicure was fine and my sister liked her manicure.

I love my nails! Peter is a man of few words but is a professional and a true master of his craft. I always get compliments on how great my nails look. I have become a loyal client.
