Horrible experience! I don’t know where to start. The first guy who came to measure wasn’t the cabinet guy. He was the stone guy. He couldn’t answer our questions. He finally said” I don’t know why they sent me I’m the stone guy“Getting any kind of commitment is a joke. I had to call 3 times to pay and tell them YES I want your cabinets. They lost our order. Call backs were left all up to us. They Never called us. Gave appliance part numbers and dimensions as requested. The appliances did not fit! They charged us more to add wood to make them fit! It was Awful. Getting granite from some place else. ! I’m done with these people!

Finally got on the granite countertop train. Yep, I’m a little late to the granite party, but I did get there!
Durastone did my granite countertops in both my kitchen and master bath, plus my new tile backsplash. I am normally so skeptical of things like this, that cost a lot of money and rely on contract workers to get the job done right.
All I can say is, the entire experience was well worth it.
They have a huge selection of granite and tile. You actually select your piece of granite.
They were ready a week earlier than they said, and asked if I’d like to move up my installation. Um, yeah I did. I had to take 2 days off work, as the granite was done one day, the tile the next.
So, the granite installers show up on time, and while I stayed in another room, I heard banging, rumbling, and all sorts of other fun noises. At one point, I went into my kitchen, which was a dusty disaster area. They had one large piece of the granite installed, and I knew this was going to be good.
The tile guys showed up the next day, again on time, and again created an enormous mess. But they, and the granite guys before them, cleaned up about as well as they could. They did something a little different with the tile than I had orginally planned, but the main guy told me about his idea and I went with it. Came out even better, given the configuration of my wall.
Both sets of guys were courteous, professional, and outstanding at their jobs.
It is beautiful, and came out even better than I expected.
