Eagle Express Dry Cleaners

Great service and prices. They were able to remove deep stains, sow up a tear in my dress and fix the hem of my skirt all for less than $ 15.

Poor customer service and lack of caring for loyal customers.

This place is pretty good and prices are good. The only issue is that you need to un-​botton your own shirts and take out collar stays or they will break your buttons and iron in collar stays leaving a inprint. I mean I am glad they don’t throw them away, but still my old cleaners took them out and put them in a little bag. Still a very solid places that does excellent cleaning.

I wanted to love this place. It is so close to my house, and I’ve had some pretty good experiences. But after a couple of years overlooking multiple small issues. I switched back to my pricier, but better, MW Cleaners option close by.
Eagle has gotten some serious wine stains out of a white coat and jacket (I love white clothes, but also love red wine and friends that gesticulate wildly…) However, too many of mine and my husband’s shirts have come back with cracked or missing buttons, my suits come back looking a bit too shiny (overly rigorous and hot pressing techniques), and I have a lovely wool blazer that came back with pills EVERYWHERE — something that required a lot of time to fix, and something that had never happen after many cleanings at MW.
Anyway, I gave it my best, but the results were just too inconsistent to continue giving Eagle my business.

I used this cleaner for 6 months with great service and no problems. But then they lied to me and ruined my shirt and I won’t go back.
I brought in three shirts to be cleaned for an upcoming interview. When I went to pick them up the morning of my interview, Nasser already had the two shirts waiting for me. The exchange went something like this:
«I cleaned your shirts for you, but I did not process one of them.»
«No problem, why is that?»
He pulled my third shirt from right behind the counter.
«I noticed this shirt had tears in it, so I did not process it.»
I inspected the shirt and found that indeed, it has three mechanical tears on the front of it, each about four inches. He claimed I brought it in like that. I don’t think I did. He also said that he noticed PRIOR to processing my shirt. However, the shirt was obviously processed. So did he really notice the tears before processing, or did he tear them during processing and then later denied that he had even dealt with the shirt?
There was no way to prove who tore the shirt, but there was definitely the ability to prove if he had indeed processed my shirt, which he claimed he had not.
I compared the feeling of the fabrics of the two «processed» shirts and the one «unprocessed» shirt. I noted to him that they felt the same. He denied it. I then inspected the sleeves and noted that the sleeves were neatly pressed, indicating it was most likely processed. He denied it again. I had an interview to catch, so I kept things sincere and left.
It wasn’t until I got home later and inspected the shirt further that I realized it was obviously processed and he lied. I compared it to unwashed shirts. I noted that there was an indention for the clip where the sleeves are usually folded together when hung. There were other indications that led me beyond a shadow of a doubt the shirt had been processed. It was obviously processed that it would be absurd to claim otherwise.
So, Nasser lied to my face, and when I went to confront him again, refused to apologize or offer to make things right. I would have otherwise said, «Oh man, maybe I didn’t notice the tear when I brought it in,» or «Maybe the fabric was getting old,» and let him off the hook. But his lie was obviously in order to reject responsibility.
No one can prove who tore the fabric, but we can certainly prove if the shirt was indeed processed. I swear I brought the fabric in untorn, and he swears he never processed it. Only one of those can actually be true.
Cowardly organization who lost a happy, continuing customer over a $ 40 shirt. He could have made it right by just acknowledging that «crap happens» and all would have been good. Instead he lied and refused responsibility, and failed to apologize. Unbelievable.

I came here based on all the positive reviews and assurances from other reviewers that they do a good or at least decent job of dry cleaning, and boy was I surprised with what I got back.
I took in several pieces of clothing in preparation for a wedding, including a custom-​made dress, suit, suit pants, sweaters, and shirts. To begin with, everything came out smelling like gasoline. I’m not sure if they took it next door to the Shamrock gas station and doused everything in gasoline, but that’s sure how it smells like. I’m a little shocked as to how a dry «cleaner» can call themselves that when the clothes come out smelling worse than when they were brought in, and probably doused in gasoline.
In addition to that, the lining in my suit that I was planning on wearing to the wedding in a few days is now completely messed up and who knows how much time and money it will cost to get a tailor to fix it (if it’s even fixable).
And to top it all off, they completely ruined beyond repair my girlfriend’s custom dress she had made several years ago by somehow stretching the fabric apart. I’m not even sure how they that’s possible when all we asked them to do was to clean it. I would still have been upset if they had just ruined my suit and and made our other clothes smell bad, but to completely destroy beyond repair a special custom-​made dress is just incomprehensible to me.
The lady behind the counter was not apologetic at all and I barely got her to call the owner, Nasser. On the phone, the best he could do is say he would fix it in a few days. First of all, the wedding is in a couple of days and second, why would we trust someone who completely ruined our clothing to «fix» it?
For your own sanity and the well-​being of your clothes, don’t go here. The prices may not be bad and they may be somewhat conveniently located next to you, but trust me, it’s not worth it!

Nasser and company are professional, warm, and exceptionally capable. This is one of only two excellent dry cleaners I’ve found in Houston over the last 4+ years, and it’s the only one to use if you live in Montrose. The customer service is impeccable and they do great work.

I’ve been going here now for the past year and a half; absolutely love it! Always good service and the owner will know your name after only a few visits! Had one unfortunate short incidence with a super delicate top, but he not only sent it to get fixed but gave my next round for free the next time I came. Never had an issue since!

Just picked up my clothes. I wear white shirts for work at a restaurant and there is always accidents on them. This place have done a great job at getting rid of the stains! Will be a regular from now on!

Recently i decided to try a place that’s located closer to my apt, and boy did i get burned. Literally. Sort of. One of my light blue shirt collars now has a light brown burn spot to match. Granted, blue and brown do mix, but i’d prefer if the matching decisions were left up to me. Eagle express has never wronged me, and that’s why i’ll be returning promptly. Probably not the cheapest, but highly consistent and consistency is key.

DO NOT GO HERE. This thief charged me ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS for 3 jackets, a button up shirt, and a pair of pants. $ 100. Are you INSANE?! AND this took him 3 ½ days to clean. Not only am I livid but I have to find a new dry cleaner. Avoid this place at all costs. I wish I could give negative stars.

Not cheap and not insanely expensive (ie. Jacket/​blazer $ 6, Dress $ 7, Pants $ 4). Conveniently located for me since it’s on my way home from work. It’s attached to a gas station, which makes parking tricky sometimes. Overall, a good, solid dry cleaners and they’re nice folks.

Lives up to the hype, and then some. This place is a trifecta of awesome: cheap, friendly, and they seriously do magic to clean your clothes. I brought in a white shirt with a big jagermeister stain down the entire front. I washed it myself, and it was still there. Almost threw it away. Then I took to Eagle Express along with some other clothes and they all came out completely stainless and flawlessly pressed. WTF did they do???

All you need to know here is whether or not they do a good job at cleaning and pressing clothing. Answer: They are.
May be a little more expensive than my old dry cleaners, but its about 25 miles closer to my house.
Transactions can’t be any smoother or faster. I have no complaints. Get your stuff cleaned here!

I’m a fan. The service is fast, efficient, and knows me well. Not the cheapest place around, but it is reasonable. The best part is… They clean! I’ve had so many issues with dry cleaners returning my stuff still dirty. Not Nassar! He’s honest, reliable, and takes pride in his work.

first off — don’t be fooled by the bars on the door/​windows, it’s really just for decoration.
i made the mistake of washing 2 brand new sweatshirts with 2 brand new machine washable/​line dry sweaters. welp, they pilled super duper bad and i was so so sad and mad at myself for not thinking correctly. i even googled «how to get rid of pilling sweaters» and took the home remedy of adding white vinegar to my load (and NO, nothing smelled awkward, it actually made my clothes super fluffy! highly recommend doing that!).
soooo… i looked up good dry cleaners because previous experiences around med center areas were a little meh, so i called up eagle express (FYI: i believe it goes to the owner’s cell phone). i took my poor new sweaters in and the girl that was working said, «there’s nothing we can do… sorry.» I was a little annoyed since driving around montrose isn’t everyone’s hobby. but i just told her, «i’d like to have the owner look at it.» and she kindly accepted and told me they’d call me if they couldn’t help out my poor sweater situation within 24 hours.
i didn’t get a call, so i just went back to pick them up… VOILA! it was fabulous. my sweaters are back to normal, just a few pills INSIDE the sleeves (who’s gonna look there right?) and around the seams. i was ready to pay $ 25+ for services, but she charged me $ 11.36. yay!
moral of the story: def go here. if he can fix my mistake in 36 hours, i’m sure he launders clothes super well.

I am a loyal customer because of two simple acts that have been done here.
I have only recently moved to the area and as such, I had the typical dumb lost tourist look on my face for a bit, I asked around and was told that Eagle was my best bet for dry cleaners. By default, I take recommendations with a grain of salt, because YOUR likes, may not equate to mine. Just something I learned over the years, I guess.
Anyway, so why am I a loyal customer?
Act #1: I travel a lot for work, and I landed in Houston Friday and took my clothing to the cleaners and asked if he could have them ready by Saturday, he said no, but could have them ready by Monday at 7AM. Perfect, my flight did not leave until 9, so I had time. Monday morning, bright and early, my clothing was ready.
Act #2: They know what heavy starch means. I always use a lot of starch, almost to the point of them being able to stand on their own. I have since washed my shirt twice and it still has the stiffness to it.
The prices are great, and the owner recognizes me by name, even though my name is complicated, to say the least.
Oh, and it is about a half mile walk from my place. Reasonable prices, excellent service, and I walk off the pounds to boot!

I am so happy to find an affordable dry cleaner in my neighborhood! The family owned business has a super nice staff, their prices are reasonable, and the quality of the service is fabulous.
They have a new regular customer!
