eCardio sends bills a year later, this is crazy. Not sure what their deal is, or why I even owe them, seems totally illegitimate but apparently random companies can bill you for various medical expenses. Don’t use their halter unless you like getting a bill a year later.

This place has terrible customer service. My eCardio heart monitor was damaged and I called this place to find out what my options were. The female employee I spoke with said she had to speak with her manager and she would get back with me. Several weeks go by and no response from her. I call back several times and I am not able to get a hold of anyone, just an automated machine. Five months go by and I get a letter from eCardio Recovery Dept. demanding I return the monitor in 10 days or I will have to pay for it out of pocket. I was clearly confused at this point, but I pay $ 30 to have shipped to them in Texas and write them a very nice letter explaining my troubles with their company. Several more weeks go by and I get a bill from them for $ 650, telling me I have to pay the entire cost of the machine. First of all, this is an outrageous amount of money when I can find similar heart monitors for $ 120 online. Second of all, if their employee would have gotten back to me in a REASONABLE amount of time, part of my insurance would have covered it. I am 26 years old, I no longer have my parent’s insurance and I am unemployed. I cannot afford to pay for this.
