We had seen Eclectic Homes’ ads in various local publications for years but it seemed that something always happened to keep us from visiting. Well, I am please to announce that we finally made in to the store and WOW! We were blown away by the assortment of some most incredible lamps, clocks, wall art, mirrors, amazing silver serving sets, furniture as well as other decorative items. I didn’t want to leave I was having so much fun looking at the one of kind pieces. I am going back today to see if a couple of things I wanted but didn’t purchase when I was there earlier in the week are still there! There is a marvelous antique store right next door by the name CODA. We didn’t have time to check it out but hopefully today we will!

I love stopping by Eclectic Home! They have a wonderful eye for interesting home décor items. From serving pieces, to succulent displays, to interesting décor objects, this place is always fun to browse. I have purchased a few items here over my visits. Some lovely artistic gold cube vases and a Marie Antoinette heart object.

As an out of towner, I was looking for shopping unique to Houston and wound up on 19th street. Glad I did too! This was probably my favorite store on the strip. Lots of beautiful things in many different price points. I saw a few things I’m tempted to go back for on my way out of town.

I love Eclectic Home! This is an incredibly special store loaded with thousands of tasteful and surprisingly affordable items to beautify your home. It’s a truly unique place to shop, and the owners, Dale and Colby, will always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome. You’ll find home décor that you’ve never seen before, and you’ll be inspired to shape up that room in your home that’s been begging for some refurbishment. Definitely one of the coolest shops on the 19th St. «strip» in the Heights.

I walked up and down 19th and this is by far the most beautiful antique furniture shop on the block. Organized, nice people, great displays and… AC! Make sure to check out the candles. Great scents and unique designs.

Best home accessory store in Houston. I have been going to Eclectic Homes for over 10 years and Dale and Colby, the owners, have always been extremely helpful. Their price point, for the quality of the products is fair and reasonable. I have even used Colby as the designer on 2 of my homes. He won best renovation for a residential property in the Heights in 2012. You won’t find a better shopping and design experience in Houston…

Having worked in the interior design industry on the retail and wholesale end for more then 14 years — I can honestly say this is it for me. The best accessories in Houston. I work in Highland Village managing a very well known brand name home furnishings retailer– and I can still say Eclectic Home is the very best. Always multiple things that becon to be bought. Great pieces for the modern collected interior. The best in Houston.

You know what I love about this place? The owner is always there and he is so nice even though I’m sure he knows I can’t afford a pillow in his store. My Heights [imaginary] home décor pit stop.

This is a great home décor store that offers a wide range of contemporary and unique home décor items. Prices are moderate to expensive-not a bargin type of place, but defineitely a place where your purchase will stand out in your home.

My fiancé and I both said«It’s not really that eclectic in here,» after about 5 minutes in this store. The furnishings and home décor here are stylish, elegant, and classy, but not all that eclectic — borderline trendy, definitely contemporary, but nothing too out there. I found some beautiful light fixtures and a metal stand that I could barely leave in the store. Prices were pretty good, but it’s definitely not a discount store. The budget-minded will be glad to see that they offer small touches that can brighten up any corner, from beaded curtain tiebacks to candles in every color. Those with unlimited funds should stop by for some great pieces, from end tables to full rooms of funiture.
