I’ve been working upstairs for the past 6 months and dine there regularly, The lunch portions are huge and edo and his wife are great people to talk to about life. These people are the salt of the earth and do a great job and work it. For a cafeteria in an office building can’t do much better, most hot meals are all organic and taste great

This is the place you go to when you have no other option available. I forgot my apple at home for breakfast, they were happy to charge me $ 1.35 for the convenience of buying it from them. Next time, I’ll take the risk of being late for work.

I don’t want to leave a bad review because the food really is good and the staff are wonderful and friendly. My only complaint is that the food is a bit pricey. Some items you order and you get a ton of food(like enough for leftovers) others its a bit overpriced. Over 10 $ for the grilled chicken plate which gets you 1 chicken breast and 1 side(veggies or rice). On the flip side, if you have not tried their cappuccino, TRYIT! Very good :)

Do Not go here — IF you desire consistently good food, very friendly staff, extremely nice owners, always clean dining area, an atmosphere conducive to conversation without shouting. … :) A hidden Gem inside the Loop… For Years!

It’s a cafeteria with the owners always present and very friendly service. They get most of their business from the building tenants but also have a large clientele of non tenants. Better than most office building facilities for the hot meals served at lunch. Open from breakfast until 4 pm. You can see their daily menu on the Facebook page.

I’ve been here once and I want to go back. Its a really nice place and the staff are really nice and helpful. This place is so close to me I could walk there which I do. The food is overprice depending in what you decide to order, I order the lasanga plate, and it wasn’t bad. But I could have made it, instead of paying $ 10 for the meal. But then again its okay to go there once and a while.

Oh Edo’s. The people that work here are the sweetest! The food here is not bad for cafeteria-ish food. When I worked in the building I used to get breakfast here every now and then. The biscuit, sausage, and egg was pretty good. The only gripe is that everything is overpriced! For a simple sandwhich they charge nearly $ 6! The bread and ham they use are items we can find ourselves at the grocery store. But yet, people still buy the sandwhiches so I guess it works. I’ve had the seafood gumbo and I admit was really good. I also tried the spinach and chicken lasagna and that sort of tasted like cafeteria food. I don’t think I’d ever come back since I don’t work in the building anymore but I’ll definately miss the sweet lady that is at the register. Edo’s is a good spot to get lunch if you don’t want to leave the buidling. Well actually… it’s the only place to get lunch that’s walking distance near 5POP. Oh and I think it’s the only place that has WIFI in the building.
