Lets see, scalding hot coffee, no flavor breakfast egg bagel… not the way I was hoping to start the day.

No idea which end is up here. I asked for an itemized receipt just to satisfy myself that the order was completely wrong.

I paid over $ 8 for a bagel with turkey, sausage, egg, and cheese and obviously they left out the turkey. I have worked in the restaurant industry and its not impossible to combine 5 ingredients together to build a breakfast sandwich. Pretty depressing honestly.

Unbelievable customer service this evening. Smiling, pleasant, kind faces. Edwin was especially helpful!

Their bagels were good quality don’t get me wrong, but there work effort was horrible. 2 workers were having a side conversation about drama to the side while the line was long. one worker returned from brake and offered a piece of her pizza to another worker at the counter. I can’t believe that. Their prices were also high for bagels. I bought a bakers dozen which ended up being $ 18 and some change. my order was fulfilled in over 20 mins and all I got were bagels that were all ready made.

Pretty busy, & right in the middle of a food court. Looks like they have good food to take to-go, when on the way to your terminal. I was going to get a bagel, but I couldn’t make up my mind in time, & there were some people in front of me. Since a space opened at another food vender counter, I got my dinner & drink there, but returned to EBB for a brownie-type frap(sweet-drink) that was advertized. I was told at the counter that they didn’t have that, so I ordered a mocha instead. It was kinda tough signing for a card purchase, since there isn’t any counter space. But I would still come back if I’m ever in that terminal again. The staff were friendly & helpful, though.

When you look up «poor customer service» in the dictionary, you’ll find this place. I came at 4pm and was the only customer. I stood and waited for the employees to finish their personal conversation. I was supremely annoyed as the guy wasn’t understanding my order… two bagels and plain cream cheese… purely because he was bored. Then they were out of ice for my iced coffee and then they were out of coffee for my coffee! Skip it and got to Starbucks in terminal B.

The pinnacle of airport Einstein brother locations remains Denver. Meanwhile, if you are a United supporter you probably haven’t seen this location that often has 25 – 50 people in line. It’s in the Southwest terminal. This Einstein at IAH is a smaller step-sister. It has less product, fewer people in line and is far less organized. Meanwhile, no one can complain about the bagels. They do taste like fresh made bagels and offer a variety of options with sandwiches and spreads. And, if you’re in this E terminal, it’s still better(food wise) than what they offer at Dunkin Donuts. If it’s is quick, affordable breakfast you’re after, this place will do.

All I wanted was a cup of coffee at around 8:00am. This was absolutely overwhelming to the staff. For starters, the women working behind the counter were all yelling at each other and there was one pot of coffee ready… decaf! I waited a LONG time and so did others. I finally asked for my money back and I had to plead my case as to why yo the manager, who ended up producing a terrible cup of coffee.

I stopped in their location in Terminal C for a sandwich. They had cards on the shelves to list the sandwiches, but the packages themselves were not labeled. I grabbed a wrap that was listed as being buffalo chicken. I couldn’t see inside, as the wrap was cut, but not presented as such as to see the inside. When I got on my plane to eat, it turns out it was not buffalo chicken, but a turkey wrap. OK, I like turkey well enough(not sure if there was a difference in price or not). I bite into the wrap and immediately wretched, as there was a huge piece of onion. The whole damned wrap had so many onions, the entire sandwich tasted of them. I was unable to eat any more than 3 bites. So that was a lousy value. I was also not impressed with what appears to have been a whole grain tortilla, which was like eating a cereal box. Lesson learned. Stick to food properly labeled, packaged so you can see it, avoid whole grain tortillas, and ensure there are no onions.

Horrible and all the ladies working there had attitudes. None of them greeted us and they got my order wrong. This place needs to be restarted w eager employees.

Just skip this place. The service: Yes, it’s hectic during the morning, you don’t come to the airport expecting exceptional food service, and truth be told, they get the job done… but still. The cashiers all wore a scowl and mine called up the next customer in line as soon as I handed over my credit card. I didn’t care for the assembly line treatment. The menus are far too small to read. I had no idea how much I was spending on breakfast ’til I got rung up. Food: My egg sandwich bagel was still somewhat doughy on the interior — I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before? The worst part: the eggs tasted strongly of dish soap. Couldn’t finish it. Coffee was pretty good.

Poor service and took way too long. I had to explain the order 3 times to the person making the bagels because it wasn’t recorded on the order.(The person before me had to do the same thing)

Service is terrible and takes forever. Then when I got my order it was wrong. The worker took my sandwich and said«this one is a blueberry?» I said yes and she walked off without asking me what I should have gotten. I told the next worker I received the wrong sandwich and told him what my order was supposed to be…15m later I had to approach the third worker to finally get my sandwich which was also wrong… Einstein’s should be ashamed to have their name on this place. Maybe they don’t care because they are making money on the trapped airport ppl. Why care about their customers right?

I received an acceptable meal here after concluding that La Salsa and Wendy’s were both unsatisfactory. These people were not only able to make me full, but they also provided good food and at a reasonable price. So Houston’s airport is not totally hopeless. I got a salmon bagel for $ 6.99. Of all the things you could put in a sandwich, salmon is probably one of the better options, and these people do it well. The bread was tasty and the cream cheese was plentiful. Overall, a solid airport dining experience.

Stopped by the Houston airport on a layover, and my friend and I decided to get bagels for breakfast. Einstein bagels are pretty good — a lot less dense than other bagels, which makes you feel less food-coma after your meal. I ordered just an everything bagel with schmear, and my friend got the lox sandwich. My bagel tasted good, but she mentioned hers tasted overly salty and not very fresh. The coffee was just meh in my opinion, but I wasn’t really expecting much for airport coffee. Come if you’re in terminal E for breakfast! There aren’t really many other options hahah

Lousy even for airport counter food. Strawberries were rotten; returned them for another pair that is turning too. Bagels with cream cheese tasted fine, but were handed to me in bags also covered in cream cheese. Yuck. Watery coffee. Guy taking my order was sympathetic, so I guess that’s redeeming.

ISTHESKINNYBAGELWRONG? Nope!!! Because it saves you on fat, calories and sodium. And a little bit less is a whole lot better for your body. I grabbed the Buffalo Chicken Bagel Thin Sandwich. I loved that it wasn’t deep fried chicken but grilled. That always makes me feel like I’m making a healthier choice. I wished that it was a whole chicken breast. The sandwich had grilled chicken strips which kept falling out of the bagel. So I ended up eating a wheat thin bagel with lettuce, tomato and red onion. With a side of grilled chicken strips which I was forced to eat with my fingers because of the lack of a fork. I think the sandwich has potential. I love that a fast food place is making an effort to try and offer a healthier version of their sandwich. There are many choices here at the airport and so many temptations for food. This was not my first choice but I figured I would try a healthy offering and I am glad that I did.
