El Jalapeño

El Jalapeño is good. The truck sells food for cheap and makes me full. The corn tacos with fajitas are good and the hot sauces they give are spicy which meet my standards. The only thing i guess i don’t like is how sometimes they move around unnoticed. But overall they’re goood

This is one of the best taco trucks in Houston. Love it and I’ll keep going for my taco cravings.

So I had tacos de bisteck and a campechana, and they were delicious! I had heard a lot about this little truck, just never had tried it. So I did.
Definitely will be going back! :)

These tacos are delicious! My brother in law grew up in this area and he recommended calling in the order vs going there, since they are always extremely busy. Take into consideration that due to them being busy (especially on weekends) your order may not come out the way you expect. For my particular order, they forgot to add the onion, cilantro and hot sauce. Okay, my inner Mexican is about to come out— un PINCHE taco no es taco sin cebolla, cilantro, y SALSA!!! So that was a bummer… I do not get to enjoy tacos often, so I sort of expect my tacos to be perfect otherwise I’d settle for «tacos» from Taco Bell. Any who, I will come back because jalapeño is BOMB, but I need to make sure my order is right before I leave their parking lot.

I ordered two tacos and gave the lady a five and did not receive change. Clearly the sign outsize said $ 1.oo for corn tacos. She stated that I ordered corn so it was extra. Rip off. Over salted, over seasoned.
Go to second ward where they give you a nice helping of cilantro and onions plus a massive amount of meat from Taqueria Los Mexicanos. Never again will I go here.

I was driving by and saw all of the cars. I knew this was a good place. I was correct! The tacos are delicious. The onions and beans with your tacos make it even better. The excellent Chicken Fajita Tacos for either $ 1.00 or $ 2.00 can’t be beat. I wanted to try both to compare and the difference is the size of the corn $ 1.00 tortilla as compared to the flour $ 2.00 tortilla. We’ll be back for more!

Delicious tacos for a good price! I do appreciate the pepper and onions they provide. It’s pretty good for a food truck and late night food run.

I was bragging and bragging and they made me look like a fool!!! Took my mother and brother and well they forgot the onions and the salsa. Not enough cilantro or raw onions this time it was barely even there and the charro beans. BARF. Watered down!!! It tasted like beans in water! No joke! Sorry I’m honest. I will however be giving it another shot. Eventually.

These tacos are pretty yummy and cheap. There’s always a wait but I order through the phone and then go pick it up. I love that they give you beans and grilled onion!

Alright here we go attempt number 2 at this review since Unilocal took my last review down. I’ll keep it simple this time. A must try taco truck. By far the best. Happy Unilocal

Best Taco Stan in Houston. Maybe even best tacostan in the world. Always packed, tacos de trompo rock. I’ve never been disappointed with anything I have ordered.

My bf always raved about this place. It’s a nice and really clean taco truck. They have multiple trucks spread around Houston and they also cater too. One of the few taco trucks that I have still seen serve Tripa :)

Has to be one of my favorite place to get those authentic tacos cravings. Very affordable and cheap. 1 $ tacos! Every other truck charges $ 1.25−1.50 $ and their prices keeps going up. Love this place!

This has become the taco truck to be on Edgebrook, every night there are more than three cars parked here at any moment, probably due to their $ 1 tacos; however, there is a catch, they don’t advertise on their menu that the tripa tacos are $ 1.50, even if they are on a corn tortilla… sneaky. Seeing as how this was the truck with the most customers we figured it had the tastiest tacos, so I went and ordered an extra helping of tripas, yeah, there goes my figure. This has been by far the most impressive plate serving, yes, it was on a paper plate but the tacos came accompanied by: onions, cilantro, grilled onions, grilled jalapeños, grilled potatoes and a baggie of green salsa. The tacos were very good, the tripa was flavorful, the only detail was perhaps a bit more crispiness, but that is my personal opinion, as to how trips are enjoyed the best, perhaps most people enjoy them softer and I am in the wrong here, but I don’t really care, my way or the highway. The pastor was actually good, comparable if not better than the ones from El Toro on Fairbanks– N. Houston, in all I can see why people, including my family, frequent this place.
