Ordered the five tacos and they were very good. Very authentic. Gave this place only 3 stars because of the atmosphere. Normally, I wouldn’t eat in a place like this as it looks pretty crummy, disorganized, sticky and not very clean. I almost walked away but was hungry and the reviews were mostly positive. Keep in mind the menus is in Spanish so good luck with ordering unless you know what you want. Again, very authentic and tasty tacos but probably won’t go back due to the atmosphere. Oh, did I mention they sell beer to go?

Place is always f-ing awesome. Hit the spot! The meat plate, onions, salsa, chips, best flour tortillas. Michelada was the best in town. Hands down perfect mix and flavor. Fruit with Chile for dessert and a preparada. Came all the way to the east side for this combo!

Best Mexican food I’ve ever had in the U.S. Their El Trompo pork tacos are divine –they literally melt in your mouth and the avocado and butter inside make them just perfect. The cocktails are AMAZING and HUGE. Seriously, huge and loaded with yummy fresh fruits. I’ve never had better! These guys are the real deal –it’s 9 pm on a Sunday right now and they are still packed with families and groups of young people watching a football game, but they haven’t skipped a beat. Their drive-thru traffic has not slowed down for the past hour and somehow they seem to be managing just fine! Generous portions overall, clean place and friendly staff. A definite must!

Never disappoints! Service is always fast… Unless you go during their peak hours(Friday & Saturday nights). The pineapple is my favorite! I do not know what it is called, but I just say I want a pineapple. They do sell it with a Smirnoff, but I get it for the fruit with chamoy! The cost for the pineapple with the Smirnoff is $ 14. A bit pricey, but very delicious! Their preparadas are also tasty! My favorite are the mango and strawberry.

Great food, simple and quick. Plus cheap beer! It’s completely open so go when the weather is nice. Just a little way south off of I-10 at holland ave.

I only go for the drinks… preparadas. they are doo good, smirnoff of your choice in a large cup with a lot of fruit on the bottom(I usually get apples) they will also add chili powder and some lime.

Awesome place to get great tacos de bistec and al pastor, just like you would in Matamoros, Mexico. The tortilla is small and has lard and tender meat with grilled onions and a serrano pepper toriado, which means grilled. There charro beans are great, with pork skins in it!!! Very affordable too!

From 5 pm to sometime at night there is a guy that cooks tacos here. He only cooks Wednesdays — Sundays. He cooks beef and pork trompo tacos. This is no classy venue, but the tacos are awesome. Give it a try. Man, I love the trompo and beef mix. The place is actually a drive thru grocery store just as a note.
