I went back for a follow-up appointment with Dr. Esses. Thist time, I felt he was very sympathetic, was patient, listened, took his time, and addressed all of my concerns. When you are afraid and/or have significant health issues, these things matter greatly. Things ran much more smoothly, they used my regular pharmacy, and I appreciated Dr. Esses’ help. I plan to see him again.

Horrible decision to go here. My husband is a doctor and Dr. Esses representative has been coming in to our office for 2 years trying to get us to refer patients. I was in a car accident and suffering with very bad back pain. I decided to give Dr. Esses office a try, took me 2 hours in traffic to get to his office just to have Dr. Esses to come in the room for 5 minutes and have me go give a urine sample(I have no idea why) and when I came back in the nurse gave told me they would have a pharmacy send me a pain cream & supplements. No further tests or imaging, even after I asked. $ 60 copay and I was no better off to knowing what is causing my pain. Needless to say, we will not be referring any of our patients here.

I had seen four surgeons before going to Dr. Esses. None of them were able to help me. I had back and leg pain. It was debilitating. Dr Esses personally reviewed my MRI and showed me where my nerve was being pinched. I had surgery shortly thereafter. It was done as a minimally invasive procedure. When I awoke from anesthesia my pain was gone and I have been great ever since. Back to all the activities I enjoy including running, tennis and golf. Everybody in the doctors office is nice and friendly. I never felt rushed. Overall great experience.

The wait there is over an hour and a half so expect to be there a long time. I had to call several times to ask about the MRI I was suggested to get by Dr. Esses. I also called several times to ask about a urine sample they made me do all to never get a call back and I never got a response on how it came out. The doctor also recommended a multivitamin that he tells all of his patients to take but you have to a number they give you. I called to see how much it would be and they said I had to pay $ 50 out of pocket. I told them I was not interested yet they still sent me the damn vitamins. I’m not going to pay for something that I said I did not want. I would say save your time and look for a different doctor.
