B U Y E R B E W A R E ! ! I had a pair of glasses for just over a year that became badly scratched, to the point they could not be worn. After finding out other eyewear businesses had 2 year guarantees, I went to Eye Trends to see what they could do. I was shuffled over to a desk and told, I should have bought an extended warranty and that I did not have scratch resistant lenses and they would replace the bad lenses for $ 340 These are glasses that I paid over $ 660 for! Never, never will I go back or recommend Eye Trends~what a racket! I mean what do you get for $ 660? Back to for me where I can get a good pair of glasses for $ 100.

Easy parking, easy to locate. Small selection of frames. I didn;t feel like the woman who helped me knew much about what she was talking about. Glassesa re a HUGE investment.

I feel like I need to right two separate reviews on this place. First, the front desk staff is terrible. My fiancé and I had two appointments, one at 12:40 and the other at 1:20. We arrived at 12:30 since we were first time patients. Amy is probably the rudest person I have met in my life. We had a 30 minute conversation where she tried to convince me that I didn’t have insurance because she could not locate it the day before.(Not only did I not get a phone call, but she refused to contact the insurance company for me while I was there) I called VSP and had an authorization number for them in 5 minutes. Once insurance was sorted out, it was 1:20, which she then decided to harass me and tell me that I cannot see the doctor that I was supposed to see because«I was late» Which was not true. Well, one full hour later, I got to see the doctor; who was great. I have many positive words for him, but somehow, the experience with his staff makes it hard to praise the company. The rest of the staff was nice. Many of them even apologetic for Amy’s behavior towards me. One of the other doctors even told me that«sometimes she has a bad attitude.» They assisted me in picking frames and checking out. It is unfortunate that I had to catch a day of her attitude. If my fiancé hadn’t already gone back, I would have left and gone elsewhere. It is a shame when you have a business that has potential to be incredible… but one employee can ruin it. I have no idea if I will go back next year for my annual check-up. I guess that depends on who they have on staff at that time.

Worst place to get glasses… the people lack professionalism, they rather be behind the desk /computer playing on facebook then to help answer your questions. If and when they do help you they give you lies… «oh you have an easy prescription we’ll have them ready for you in 2 days…» you pay them and then wait for them to call… to only find out they never call you. call them in only to find out it’ll take 7 more days to get your cheap pair of basic SUPERBASIC frames… i wanted something cheap plastic and very basic(no extra nothing) because i needed glasses quick. only to come find out… its been 7 days and i still do not have a pair of cheap glasses. Please be warned, don’t go here. if you do, be prepared to deal with the consequences.
