Food was great and much more. They are very limited on selection. But still good for a good truck… Definitely, recommend this to anyone…

I was so happy to see a Fat Bao food truck, but unfortunately it was not as good as its restaurant establishment in terms of deliciousness. Like Fat Bao, Fat Wagon sells Asian-fusion cuisine. However, the food truck version focuses more on grab-to-go food such as dumplings and rice bowls. As expected from a food truck, the price is rather steep: a rice bowl for example is $ 8. Sadly, the food wasn’t worth the price tag either. I got a Thai chicken rice bowl, which was essentially just rice topped with several pieces of mediocre-flavored chicken and sprinkled with carrot and jalapeño peppers. The rice bowl was filling physically but ultimately unsatisfying. Fat Wagon is an okay stop to get your Asian craving fulfilled if it’s nearby, but otherwise, this is not a food truck that is worth going out of your way for.

Awesome, flavorful rice bowls! I’ve tried their homemade cracklins, kim chi pork belly, southwest shrimp, and chicken basil dishes. All were delicious, but the chicken is my favorite. Super personable and friendly guys!

Ran into this truck on campus(which will be at Rice every Wednesday). They don’t have a huge selection of foods, and weirdly enough, even though they’re affiliated with Fat Bao, they don’t even have Baos? BUT they do have rice bowls. I ordered the Thai Chicken rice bowl and was pleasantly surprised by how filling and flavorful the food was, given that it was just chicken, rice, jalapenos, carrots, and some basil leaves. I wish they had taken the seeds out of the peppers(the same kind used in Banh Mi) because it was way too spicy to eat. The bowl was also a little pricey in my opinion($ 8 for rice, carrots, chicken?). But the chicken was delicious and the rice cooked really well. I would definitely eat here again if I saw the truck, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to find it.
