I can’t believe I’m going to snake Liz for the FTR on this one =) This is a seriously cute shop, and if you’re serious about feng shui, they seem to have what you need. Be aware, not everything is visible, so if you need something in particular, be sure to ask. The proprietor knows her stuff and is very friendly and helpful. Their bead necklaces and bracelets are very pretty if you’re into that kind of accessory.

Okay, I admit it, I’m into feng shui. Despite the mockery of friends and family I hang crystals to thwart«arrow chi», chimes to bring fortune, and place mirrors strategically to bring either good fortune or avert disaster. So this store is not about the browsing for me, per se, but the purpose-driven errands. Most feng shui materials can be obtained cheaply at a crafts store, but every so often I need something specific that can be better obtained at a specialty shop. In other cities I would dart between stores in Chinatown collecting mirrors, crystals, red string, wind chimes, amethysts, etc, but here I can find everything in one place. Important to note– because of limited space, the owner has a lot more materials than she can display. Just ask for what you’re looking for. This is a great place to browse if you’re not into feng shui as well– she carries Buddha statues, fountains, chimes, and many neat beaded bracelets and necklaces. Worth browsing for the bracelets made by the owner alone. And hey… you never know about the feng shui. It’s kinda fun!
