I think that the culture of the bank has really gone down. I was really excited in the beginning about joining this bank but sadly I believe its time to find another. The Customer Service is horrible, and when you ask questions about why their system, and your online accounts don’t match they are super hostile. Bottom line… I’ve been with your loyal customer for about 4 years and I’ve had it.

I’ve been with first community for a long time. Almost done paying for my car loan. Their teller services is pretty fast, can’t complain. There is an online banking computer café inside the bank. Overall, it’s tolerable.

We first opened an account here because all the major banks stopped offering free checking. However, FCCU’s continuing great service is what keeps me a happy customer. Now I can deposit my checks with the FCCU app, it makes me that much more satisfied.

I’ve been with this bank since I was 8 years old. I love all the little perks that come with this place!
My parents created an account with this place when I was little, and I was put in this program for kids where you get free movie tickets and all this stuff if you bring in your report card and made good grades. Got that every year. Then as you grow older, the bank automatically places you into a teen program, in which you get basically the same movie tickets plus more, such as amusement park tickets, gift cards, etc. Both programs offered free checking and savings when I was younger.
When I turned 18 and had just graduated from high school, they offered me a «graduation package» where you get a pre-​approved $ 500 credit card, a debit card, and a $ 100 gift card for Target for signing up. the interest rates on the credit card is pretty low too! It started out from 2.99% for the first 6 months, and now it’s 17.99%. Not bad compared to other banks.
And everyone there, from the tellers, to member services, etc. are all nice! They can hold conversations with you while you’re getting your transactions done and when you go there enough, they tend to know you by name. Probably because it’s a small bank. But anyway, all these little things is what keeps me loyal to this bank. And the fact that this particular branch is close to my house is great too!
This place gets 4 stars because over time, I’ve found it pretty inconvenient for me to cash in my checks. I usually go to the drive thru to deposit my check, but I can’t seem to do it as soon as they get off of work because by the time I get there, they’re closed. And I would have to come back the day after to deposit my check. I wish they had an ATM where we could deposit checks like the bigger banks. And I’ve noticed some random little charges into my checking account and credit card account. When I came to the bank to ask what it was for, they mentioned that it was for using the accounts itself. I know $ 4 a month is not so bad, but it shows up randomly on my checking account rather than every month. Seems kind of fishy to me. Or maybe it’s because I’m not all that familiar with how banks are supposed to work.
