First Convenience Bank

Don’t do it, don’t do it, don’t do it!!! They dont even deserve the one star I have to give them in order to write this review. These people are pretty aggressive when it comes to getting customers to open new accounts. They actually walk up to customers as they’re shopping in the store and ask them to open an account. But once you’re a customer, they mysteriously forget their manners.
The hours are crappy – they’ve been cut, so they don’t open as early as they used to. Since I’ve been working nights lately, this makes going during their business hours difficult for me. I had a chance to stop by and ask about my account a couple of days ago, and they were beyond rude. Apparently my account went inactive and they closed it, but I never got a refund check in the mail – as they claim I was supposed to. Then one rude teller said «oh, that’s gone. When the account goes inactive, fees are added on.» Ok, so where’s my statement that tells me what fees were assessed? «That sounds like some crap mobsters would pull.» She shrugs and rolls her eyes.
Nobody at that branch cared, and nobody even offered to get a manager. As it turns out, the manager was nearby, but he didn’t care enough to get off his butt and step in. Just stay away, this bank’s practices are fishy, and the employees are jerks.
