The food here is overpriced but it’s too be expected for the location! Service was ok. Definitely felt the server rushing us. The menu is so small I was surprised when she messed our simple order up. I ordered the chicken sandwich. Comes out plain AF, then you take your plate to the topping bar and cover it was EVERYTHING. The topping bar truly saves this place. My hubby dumped cheese on everything, including his fries. I don’t have to come back here but it’s nice to sit down & eat at a proper table.

The bar and bartender here at Minute Maid Park’s 57 Grill are good. The food – not so much. Too bad ordinary people at the Astros home games can’t get a decent meal. The advertised menu is not as advertised on Minute Maid’s website. It’s pretty much nachos, burgers, quesadillas, etc. nothing interesting or nutritious.

Way overpriced, poor selection of food, and some of the food was inedible. Chicken tenders were served cold, had chewy gristle-y pieces, we ended up leaving much of what was ordered on our plates. An order of Mac and cheese was totally Kraft boxed style. 4 of us cost $ 75 — what a waste of money and we still had to go to other vendors to get more food to complete our dinner. Really sad that this ballpark keeps this level of food and service for it’s fans.

Horrible food and way over priced. Burgers remind me of middle school cafeteria food. Ballpark food tastes much better!

What the heck! Don’t be fooled by the looks of this place, super nice looking from the outside but everything was cold except the few options on the burger bar which was out of all the good things in life, unfortunately and after telling 3 workers, and standing waiting for the refill of the bar for 7 minutes we finally sat down to eat. The quality of the food is better in the outside vendors hands down. Don’t waste your time here unless you just want a comfy seat in a booth. So sad to see such a pretty looking place be wasted with low quality food. We ordered the chicken sandwich and burger(frozen) 4÷23÷16

The Andrew zimmern pull pork belly sandwich was the most disgusting plate I’ve ever had even at a baseball game. $ 15 for a tiny full of fat sandwich. Huge ripoff the people there know it everyone attending goes expecting a step up from the concession but it’s just as bad if not worse.

Where to begin? First, this sit-down restaurant is very overpriced. This might be expected for the price-gouging sports concession world, but it certainly wasn’t worth it. The food took forever to get to us and, when it did, the food was not work. My friend ordered chicken and waffles, and the waffles were cold. It was served as a sandwich, and the lettuce was wilted and discolored. Also, our drinks were never refilled. Save yourself time, money, and frustration and avoid this place!

Wow. Totally overpriced food and beer just to sit way out in the outfield to watch the Astros. No Bueno. The service isn’t too great to write home about. The food is pretty bland and the nachos don’t have enough cheese or meat in them, either. It’s a basket of dry tortilla chips with sprinkles of cheese and a few jalapeños. FYI, The establishment is named after players Jeff Bagwell and Craig Biggio(their jerseys numbers 5&7). You have to wait to be seated and during the games, the seats even in the bar are a rarity. Come early if you can and if you want a seat.

They have a seservation line that goes unanswered. The line to get on the wait list is long, then you stand around and wait. No they don’t have a PA system and you cannot hear them call your name. Still taking names with over an hour and a half wait, the game starts in a little over an hour.

We are at a game on 7−18−15, rangers at Astros. My pregnant wife wanted to eat so we came in. We were seated, but never waited on. I repeatedly asked the hostess for menus and a waiter. They never came. Discrimination against a pregnant woman because she won’t drink… very sad…

DONOTEVEREATHERE. this is our second time and will be our absolute last. Seasonticket holders and will NEVER spend our money here again. We waited 25 minutes for a beer and 45 minutes for food. Game has started. Second time this has happened. «Manager has to close you out» with season ticket holder card? While he’s been standing at the computer for now 12 minutes? AWFULMANAGEMENT. AWFULESTABLISHMENT. what a disappointment.

I was pleasantly surprised. Of course, it helps to set the bar low. But honestly, the food was really good. It was over priced, but that was to be expected, we are in a major league ballpark. If the food was reasonably priced, I would be totally surprised. I had a Caesar salad. The romaine lettuce was fresh, the dressing was excellent(I’d like to have that recipe), the chicken was good and the poblano peppers were yummy. We got to the ballpark right after it opened and could not get to our seats. So we opted to try the FiveSeven Grill. There weren’t many people there, service was prompt. Beverages were refilled. I had no issues with the service. I think our server was Gary. He immediately told us what the did not have(lemons and something else), so they were on the ball with having the service staff prepared for what they did not have available for customers. Hubs had the Andouille Reuben. I thought that was an interesting twist on an old favorite. He said it was good. I tasted the bread. It was pretty thick cut rye, with seeds, but it did not have a strong rye flavor. The fries were crinkle cut(my favorite), but they were a little under cooked. The could have been crispier for me, but for him, they were fine. My salad was $ 14.00. I think his sandwich and fries was about the same price. We had beverages, I don’t know how much they costs, because that prices was not on the menu and I did not look at the final bill. So to sum it up, the food was good. The prices were high, but not significantly higher than food at the concession stands. You get to sit and eat with a knife and fork and people watch. The game had not started, but there were TV monitors around, so if you were eating during the actual game, you would at least be able to see the action. This is not a place I would eat every night, but it made for a pleasant change.

We sat for 20 minutes and not a single member of the staff acknowledged we were here. Every table around us was serviced but we must have been invisible. Had to ask two different people before finally a lady took our order. Already not worth the headache.

Either I was really drunk or the food was that good. Tried the truffle Mac burger and was not disappointed. Will go again next time I go to another Astros game.

Oh let me count the ways. The food was really expensive($ 25/person), the quality of the food was mediocre, the service was poor. One person’s toasted sandwich showed up cold — took them 10 minutes to heat it up. The meat in my burger was overworked so that it was tough. A thick burger should be juicy and have an open texture — this was dense and dry. I asked the server what a particular beer was(is it an IPA, an Ale, …), her answer, in all seriousness was, «it’s a beer». Fries for one in the party were forgotten. Oh, and the furniture was uncomfortable. The seats in the booths were so deep that my back could not touch the back of the bench, and I am over 6 feet tall. Run, do not walk, and don’t look back. Just grab a dog or burger at one of the stands, it’s a lot cheaper and the quality is no worse.

I simple dont get it why my friends always eats here. Because from my point of view, this place is not good. Too pricey, I cant believe the food here is about $ 10. The food is not that enough, its like $ 5 and below to me. The service is also not good, cant find any good things about this place.

What a waste of money. The service was poor, the food was overcooked and small for what you paid and i have never seen fajita nachos come with stewed meat on it. It was basically a little stewed meat, cheese and a bunch of sour cream a a little quac. It took forever to get our drinks and when we got the food, my fries were luke warm. I asked for more and she brought out another batch immediately that were exactly the same. i wish that we would have eaten outside the ball park or gone to a local vendor. I’m pretty sure it would have been better and less expensive.

It’s an okay place to eat if you are at the ballpark and want food at a sit down place. We didn’t plan to eat here, but came across it and decided to give it a try. There was a wait for a table, we didn’t want to miss any of the game that hadn’t started yet, so we sat at the bar. Service was a little«does the bartender see me or not?». He gave NO eye contact at all until he was ready to serve us. No acknowledgement. which had us worried. He did come and took our order. When I ordered the grilled mushroom sandwich, he made an «oh yuck» face. My husband asked him why the face? I said, is this a bad sandwich to order, or you just don’t like mushrooms? He said, I hate mushrooms!!! I have never had an above 50 year old waiter make a screwed up face like a five year old who’s asked to eat his broccoli. Our entire party thought that was weird. We got our food super fast. Anyway. the grilled portobello mushroom sandwich was okay. My daughter and I split it and they brought it already halved which was fine with us. It had too much bread for me, it had good enough flavor, but seemed lacking somewhere. It was the only meatless item on the menu. It wasn’t very filling either, as the bun was really ‘airy’ and there was one port. mushroom, and some cream cheese-ish filling. I was hungry again by the 7th inning. My husband loved his reuben. It was gargantuan. Also the fries were pretty good — not great, but in all honesty I expected they would be terrible. I was pleasantly surprised with the slightly above average fry. The waiters do walk around with trays of food, clueless as to whom it’s to be delivered. We sat at the bar, so there was no problem with our delivery. I wouldn’t get anything else but a rueben or another type of sandwich here. We would probably go back but it was’t a great experience, or a bad experience. It was just another meal at another diner to us.

My sister and I ate here for free because her company had an event and they gave each guest a $ 50 gift card to spend within Minute Maid Park. This restaurant has television screens everywhere so you are able to keep up with the game while you enjoy your meal. I had the steak and it came with green beans, squash, and fried onion strings. The green beans were not fully cooked. The steak came smothered in a gravy. I wouldn’t come here again. I enjoyed the personal pepperoni pizza we got from Papa John’s in the park better than the food they served here. It’s nice to have a sit down restaurant in the park but the food is overpriced and not very good.
