So I wanted to wait a while before I wrote this review because I wanted to be level headed and factual and not mean and vindictive … With that said, they stood me up on my wedding day! ! First of all, they were so hard to get a hold of(i should have known then) I was finally responded to via email… so i set up a trial run for my hair and makeup for my special day. I loved my makeup and my hair was a «work in progress». So I went ahead and booked her for my wedding(in salon). The day of, I show up and the lights are out door locked… I called her(I hate to use her name) on her cell. no answer.I waited a little longer thinking she might be running late and… no show. So i left crying and heart broken. I never heard a thing back from them, however they did deposite my check(even after my wedding day) for the cost of my triall hair/makeup. $ 100+ $ 20 tip… wasted. I hate to think that this is the norm for them, and being in the industry myself, it kills me to write this, BUTCOMEON! My wedding day?

Previously called Jordan Temple Makeup, now known as Flawless, did my hair and makeup on my wedding day as well as my mom’s and my mother-in-law’s, and all of the bridesmaids! They made all of us look stunning! Just take a look at their website and see what they can do! The hair and makeup lasts all day and night too! We all loved the way we looked so much and all the girls definitely enjoyed it and it was money well spent! Not to mention, they had the best deals for hair and makeup that I found! Jordan and Kristina did such a wonderful job! I didn’t have to worry about how I looked on my wedding day one bit! I hope to go back to them again one day! — May 2009

Oh no, I have to rectify this situation! I used Flawless for my bridal photos and wedding, as did my bridesmaids. We were thrilled with the results. My photos look gorgeous(both the professional ones and the snaps from friends) and it’s largely because of Jordan Temple. For my trial, I had Christina, who is a very experienced artist. I had no idea what I wanted and told her some very vague things, and she did a great job. I looked, well, flawless– as well as radiant. The makeup stayed on perfectly through my outdoor bridal photos, and long past into the day. For my wedding, my bridesmaids had never come in, and both wanted updos(as did I). All of our hair and makeup came out fantastic– in fact I’ve never seen them looking better(or me for that matter). I do recommend that brides hire Jordan herself for their hair and makeup– she is the expert, and everyone else is trained by her. You might as well go with the best! Also we went to the studio rather than having them come to us, which I think works better. You know they will be the most comfortable there! We had plenty of time for everyone and were very relaxed– and the artists were very nice. Months after my wedding Jordan asked for models for their training day, so of course we went. We had fun getting our hair and makeup done for free, got to see some of the techniques again, and it was nice to know how much training goes into it all.

Jordan Temple(now Flawless) was referred to me by a wedding planner and I really wish I could give more stars because I was very happy with my trial and wedding portrait hair/makeup, but when it came to my wedding day(the time I used Jordan Temple that really mattered) I was utterly disappointed. My hair and makeup on my wedding day was a far, sad cry from what I had gotten(and was very happy with) at my trial and portrait sessions. My first let down was the main artist’s demeanor on my wedding day. She was late and seemed really tired(or like she didn’t want to be there) on my wedding day. The minute they finished the hair/makeup they packed up & left in such a hurry that someone literally had to run after them to give them my tip because they ignored me when I asked them to wait while I got it out. I’d gotten fake eyelashes applied during both sessions with the main artist prior to the wedding and on my wedding day(even though I paid for them,) she totally forgot to apply eyelashes. Fake lashes were the last thing on my mind that day, so by the time I realized she’d forgotten– they were long gone. I don’t know what was different about the makeup that was used or how it was applied on my big day, but it photographed nothing like what was done for my bridal portraits. In photos from my ceremony and reception, it doesn’t even look like I have makeup on. Looking back at pictures, my makeup looks like I did it myself and my updo had started falling by the middle of the reception. After my initial trial, I slept with my hair in the updo and it looked exactly the same when I woke up, so my wedding day experience was quite different. I was severely disappointed that the services/treatment I received on my wedding day were different than the two sessions I had prior to my wedding day. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend Jordan Temple/Flawless to another bride. It’s so important that you know exactly what you will get from vendors(and that you’ll be happy with it) on your wedding day and I wouldn’t want another bride to risk having an experience like mine.
