Earlier this year I set out to finish the overhaul of my home workshop (a/​k/​a, «the man cave»). I sought suppliers of the types of hardware and fasteners I’d need to avoid last minute trips to Home Depot, and their ridiculous prices for tiny bags of fasteners.
Problem one: having literally been raised in a family retail hardware store, I knew exactly what I was looking for, and the shopping list was long.
Problem two: most online suppliers were seeking to sell only full boxes of fasteners. I had neither the storage space nor the budget to accommodate quantities of 100 for items where a supply of two dozen would suffice.
FMW Fasteners was one of the two online suppliers able to rise to the challenge. Their product lines are extensive (although, not exhaustive), their piece-​count prices were better than several of the full-​box suppliers, their shipping was reasonably priced (fasteners are heavy for their size) and Customer Service was very good in helping me locate a few of the more difficult items.
As a reward for their cooperation, I placed several orders. Each arrived promptly; well-​packed and nicely packaged. I would recommend FMW Fasteners to any homeowner who wishes to remain a step ahead of their next repair.
