If I could give zero stars I would. The dresses are in awful condition, and the head of alterations at the store will try to convince you nothing is wrong with the dress. After falling in love with a dress and bringing up alterations that would have to be made, she would not even consider it. The dress I picked had noticeable holes where pearls or sequins should have been. When I brought it to her, she said that’s the way it should look. I brought her the same exact dress in a different color that did NOT have missing sequins and she still would not fix the dress I wanted and she stomped off. She also tried to sell me a dress that was obviously way too small. I’d really like to if she is the owner, but if she’s not she should be fired because she was rude to just about everyone in the store. Don’t go here looking for Sean Collection dresses.

The prices are great, even though the staff isn’t super friendly. I’d still come back because their selection is huge!
If the staff was a bit more friendly I’d give 5 stars!

We found a beautiful prom dress for my daughter at a bargain price at Formal Gallery. I love the fact that they register their dresses (less chance of having multiples of the same dress at the dance), have a website (no need for layaway, you can order it if it sells before you’re ready to buy), have a HUGE selection of beautiful dresses, and can do alterations. The staff were very helpful when we were there on a busy Saturday. Word to the wise: they probably won’t appreciate it if you walk in at 6:30pm when they close at 7. I suppose it’s hard to help someone find the perfect dress in under 30 minutes. But other than that they were nothing but helpful and courteous. I decided to write a good review because I have 3 daughters and I’d like them to still be there when I’m buying a prom dress for my youngest.

I went inside looking for my sweet sixteen dress, but as we walked in the staff came off to us as very pretentious and rude because it was 30 minutes before closing. We decided to give another try to visit the store. Once again, the staff was rude and not very warming towards us so I strongly recommend that people do not waste their time visiting this store.

Staff was helpful, a lot of dress choices. Stay away from the layaway plan, it is totally unfair. First they pressure you into the layaway plan because they won’t let you put a dress on hold, not even for a short time, and they use the old tactic of: «hopefully it will still be here when you come back». If you do put a dress on layaway you better make sure that is the dress you want, the initial payment will not be returned nor will you get a store credit. I can see a small restocking fee but on a $ 300 dress a $ 95 deposit, you get $ 0 back! No ifs, and or buts. The dress doesn’t leave the store, no alterations made yet, they won’t even steam it until you make your last payment. This makes me wonder how much money they’ve made off women and girls that have changed their mind about a dress, and I’m sure that NEVER happens, right?

terrible service, we were ignored for the first 20 min we were in the store. None of the dresses are name brand, mostly look alike knock offs, and the selection is VERY out of date.
