So good omg, they were so sweet and didn’t even talk with disrespect, they also had amazing beef, I actually tasted very well, the only downside was I had to leave !!

Have eaten here many times over the years, and this was probably the worst visit. Service was subpar(went to be seated after waiting in the bar and the waitress kept asking me if I wanted to order a drink… I had an over half full margarita in my hand). I ordered the chicken fajita nachos(small order), and they were not very tasteful or even appetizing looking on the plate. The«queso» looked and tasted like it was out of a can. We had the white queso as an appetizer and it was great. Maybe they should offer it on the nachos in place of this canned cheese or grated cheese I was offered. They just had no flavor and will never order again, if I decide to go back.

Great restaurant! Love the empanadas and white queso! We order it to go a lot so we don’t have to wait on the weekends.

I am behind about 3 weeks on my review but wanted to make sure I add this to my profile. We love Mexican but we had the portobello poblano lunch item and wow delicious. Went back twice for the same meal. Service is usually quick and attentive and their chips and salsa are fresh. Great lunch spot for Tex mex.

Tonight was my first visit. My wife, 3 other adults, 2 kids and two babies. We called ahead at 5:45 arrived at 6:00pm and were not sat until 6:45 due to the hostesses being very young, immature, and unprofessional. They definitely need additional training in seating charts, tact, and common courtesy. There were multiple empty tables that could have easily been pushed together to make a table for us but the 4 hostesses chose to seat«2 and 4 tops first» arbitrarily waiting for a couple to finish their dinner to seat us where they saw fit. No sense of urgency, concern, or empathy for a group with two small infants. Then stated«do you want us to tell them to get up ?» Ridiculous. Food was great and the waitress was awesome, but the hostess stand is the first impression and first guest interaction which these girls failed miserably at executing tonight.

I eat here frequently. Everytime I come here the customer service is awesome and the food is delicious! They have the best steak fajita meat! there isn’t anything I’ve ordered yet that I haven’t liked. They got the best green dipping sauce for the chips that I’ve ever had at any Mexican restaurant. My food always comes in a timely manner. Definitely dine here if you haven’t done so already!

Service was good. You could barely finish your tea before someone was back to fill it. Bathrooms were very clean. The place is very clean and well decorated. The noise level is loud enough to feel social but not distracting. The atmosphere is really enjoyable. Both salsas(red and green) are seriously impressive in my opinion. I got the ceviche tostadas which I will say probably wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I loved them. It is 3 tostadas on a bed of quinoa salad with mango, red onion, & cilantro. On the tostadas are lots of pieces of fish, shrimp, cabbage, cilantro, lime, and avocado. The dish is cold and I found it was an incredible summer time lunch. If you’re looking for something light yet filling it is a great option. For once I left a Mexican restaurant without feeling like I needed to be rolled out by a bulldozer. Would definitely come back.

The service was great. Food was absolutely delish. I had the fish tacos and ordered one grilled and one fried. Grilled was good but fried was much better, espcially when you need that crunch. We asked for a spicer salsa and boy did they deliver. Lovely habanero salsa that could take the paint off your car and grow some hair on you. Delicious especially on the fish tacos. Our server was on point and efficient. My only critique was that there was no more coconut flan when it was time to order dessert. I understand that coconut flan is awesome but come on, you can’t run out of it at Sunday lunch. Stock up next time. We ordered fried ice cream instead and that was definitely not what we expected, they rolled ice cream in nuts and called it fried, could do without it. Great time with friends and good food indeed. Will definitely be back, need to try that coconut flan!

I’ve been coming to this place for a while. The salsa is awesome! I could eat it night and day! My last visit on 08/16/2015 was so so though. We came in at 9pm(they close at 10pm) with a party of ten. They quickly got us a table. When our server came by he prstivally threw coasters at us and had a pretty annoyed face on. He took our drink order then proceeded to do his thing. Bus boys were not around and we kept having to ask for refills on drinks, chips, and salsa(usually service at this location is on point) I know this is due to the fact that it was close to closing time but hey we didn’t come in at like 9:50 or something. Anyway the food here is always good. I had the Carne asada Vallarta which sones with a fajita steak and 3 bacon wrapped shrimp. Overall the meal was good and we will come back maybe a little earlier for better service. Oh but they sure did charge that full 18% tip. Hehe P. s. the strawberry margaritas are pretty good here just watch out because they will mess you up before you know it.

First off if you come here, ask for Robert B, or his wife! Both of them are servers here and both of them really seem to enjoy their job very much, something you dont see every day here in Houston! Right from the start he made us feel as comfortable as he could and gave us excellent recommendations of what to eat! Food was served quickly and the margaritas were also pretty good. I would very highly recommend the Fish Tacos. I would honestly say that they are better than Berryhills!!! A+

I went here with a 22 year old friend I haven’t seen in years. My Aunt forwarned me that Gaudalajara is «not very happening» and«where old people eat»…Upon arriving I found a bustling, professional looking happy hour, really nice décor with a great ambiance… and basically no mid-20’s aged diners. However — the service was great and the food was fantastic! Beef fajitas were spot on and the bacon-wrapped quail was super delicious. My biggest complaint, though, tiny margaritas with hefty price tags. Overall: I’m a really huge Pappasitos fan… At 23 years old, I would much rather prefer to drink and eat there with friends and family. As I get older, I may find Guadalajara(the less-crammed and less-noisy restaurant) a lot more appealing. Also — parking is WAYYYY easier than many of the other restaurants I’ve been to in the area.

I enjoy tex-mex and this is not bad. parking was easy, getting a seat was easy, services was good and price was not bad. I visited over lunch and did not have any issues at all. the food is your typical tex-mex and can not go wrong with most anything on the menu.

Good Tex-Mex. More than your regular, fried standard dishes. There are really two great choices for Tex-Mex in the Memorial City/Beltway area of I-10: Pappasitos and Guadalajara Hacienda. Both have great food, but we always find Pappasitos overpacked. We have never had a problem getting a table quickly at GH. The food is very tasty and the service is good. On our last visit, the server brought me fresh jalapeños and pickled jalapeños to try with my meal. He also brought us «to-go» cups for our drinks when we left. I have also been to the Woodlands location and find the food quality to be comparable.

Salsa was on point. Carne Asada Margarita was tasty. A little too much like salt combo, but not bad. Next time, spread it on the underside as well. Dear that bishhhh Waitress was attentive and nice. Will definitely go back. A little too pricey but I guess it’s ok.

Came on Cinco de Mayo because there was no wait. When we walked in, we realized why. The place is HUGE!!! Nicely decorated for the occasion too! We also learned, Cinco de Mayo is not really Independence Day. It’s just a celebration of a victory over France in the Franco-Mexican War. Fun fact. Came right in time for their happy hour $ 5 margs. Love it! Had their seafood enchiladas. First of all love seafood. This was only my second time having mexican food with seafood. Typically, you don’t really see that in Tex-Mex restaurants. Correct me if I’m wrong. Great food, great prices, lots of seating.

I first ate at this location for my husband’s birthday dinner. We had a sizable party with us and it was a Friday night so they were pretty packed. You would think with a party larger than 12 people they would have more than one server but they didn’t. It took forever to get our order forever to even get refills on our drinks and the food was subpar at best. With the prices they boast as «family friendly» you would think you were getting twice as much food as you ordered. The prices are too steep for what you even get, the service abysmal and you leave feeling unsatisfied. A second time we had their food we ordered to go and even still I was shocked to pay for what would be the price of a cheap steakhouse. Never going back again.

I had this place bookmarked for a couple of weeks and had the chance to eat dinner there last night. Upon entering the restaurant I noticed how nice and attractive the interior décor is with the bar area on the right and the main dining room to my left. There also is an outside dining area that some people were taking advantage of. After reviewing the menu I decided to go, with the chicken fajitas with corn tortillas and charro beans. My drink then arrive with the chips and salsa. Chips and salsa are an important part of how I rate Mexican food restaurants like this and here I was very happy. Their red salsa tasted so good. The tomatoes were slightly tart and seasoned well. The green salsa was even more of a surprise as it actually had flavor to it unlike other places that I have been. It was slightly spicy and enjoyable. This is one of the better chips and salsas that I have had in a long time. About 10 minutes my fajitas came amount. A nice sized serving of chicken and onions along with the beans and rice and guac, cheese and pico on the side along with a small cup of melted butter. It was a very good meal. The ingredients were fresh tasting and appeared to be of high quality. My 3 corn tortillas went quickly and I asked for one more which was promptly delivered. This was a very good meal in a nice setting. Also my service was very good too. Keith was my tables’ waiter and he was prompt and professional. The chicken fajitas listed for $ 17.95 which is a little expensive. However I must say it was a very good meal. I compare this restaurant to the El Tiempo’s here in town. Upscale, very good food but with higher than average prices. I would come back here and I recommend that you do.

YOUHAVEGOTTOGETTHEIRPOBLANOSOUP! I CANNOTEMPHASIZEONHOWAMAZINGANDCREAMYTHEIRPOBLANOSOUPIS!!! With generous amounts of avocado sliced chunks in there … this soup tastes like a mouthful of goodness with each spoon full. The chips + salsa + salsa verde combination = divine! I am a huge fan of the décor. It is absolutely adorable. LOVE the chandeliers. I love the mural on the wall in the back. The only thing I would have liked more is that my fish taco tasted a little funny. I can’t really quite pinpoint what it was that was off about it but it was lacking somewhat in flavor. The empanadas from the appetizer were delicious. Overall, I will come back and give some other items a try. Service was generally nice.
