I came here because my company had a family corporate event about a week ago. It seems as if most of the business H&H Ranch gets is from corporate events. There are not too many good things I can say about this place. I will keep this short. The BBQ I just okay… The rides do not seem to be well maintained and I think the staff needs to wear uniforms to show professionalism. While walking thru the ranch most employees wore whatever they deemed okay. Horrible idea! There should be a standard dress code. Also there are fire ants all over the grassy areas. I would say I was disappointed because when I initially looked at the H&H website the location looked a lot larger and up to date than what I actually witnessed. H&H Ranch could be a really nice place but a huge investment is needed to bring this place back into this age.

Yuck. I feel dirty leaving this place. Certainly don’t want to be a debbie-downer with a review, but I was intensely aggravated(as were my 4&2 year olds) with my experience at H&H Ranch. At first glance when we pulled up, I thought it was going to be pretty cool. Then, as we entered the barely shaded sauna-of-a-park, I began to realize I was not entering the magical place I thought I had arrived at. The rides are homemade and not kept up at all. I was riding the falling-apart carousel and saw the bounce house collapse with a bunch of kids in it. As I exited the carousel, one of the workers told me there was free popcorn so we could go feed the turtles. I’m fairly certain popcorn should not be a turtles main source of nutrition. Fire ants cover the grassy areas, so while it’s tempting to go seek shade under one of the 4 trees in the park, do so with caution. The BBQ was fairly good, but not good enough to make me happy I made an hour drive to this place. Overall, I can not recommend this for a company picnic. Unless you think your employees will enjoy the aforementioned experience.

H & H Ranch is a great place that we look forward to coming to each year for my husband’s company picnic. This place is very big & each covered area has its own name, fountain drink area, as well as plenty of seating, regardless of how big your party is. We have been coming here for the past 3 years now, & have enjoyed ourselves each time. Every year I get the invite & think, YAY!!! Then the day comes, & I think, AHHH!!! And i also say, We wont stay long, just a couple of hours. This is due to the heat of course, but once we get there, it’s a whole new ball game!!! The covered areas that you rent out are HUGE, the staff at H & H are always super friendly, they are great servers, & they supply a HUGE fan under your awning to keep everyone cool. One thing I really appreciate is the fact that they keep the fountain drink area up & running even if there is only one or two people left from the whole group!!! That’s a life saver because every time my kids get situated in one spot, I hear, «Mom! Can you get me a drink!» The staff isn’t closing your section down till your reserved time is up!!! Yeah!!! Now on to things to do while at H & H Ranch!!! They have a Basketball Court, Volleyball Net, Paddle Boats, Fishing, a Carouse Wheel, Some othe Kiddie Rides, Swing Set with Slides, different things such as a mini airplane for the kido’s to play on, multiple Bouncy Houses(think this depends on what all is being held), a Huge Sand Box, & a Lazy River!!! Umm, yeah, I think that covers it for the most part, although I could be forgetting a few things. Another plus… they have nice clean bathrooms that don’t gross you out!!! There’s plenty of parking & if the lot does fill up(happened to us last year) they have staff out to direct people on where to park in the grass field. H & H Ranch is an ideal place to hold your family reunion or Company picnic!!! Whatever the occasion, you’re guaranteed that everyone will have something to do & will definitely have a blast!!! Looking forward to next years picnic already!!!
