3.5 rating overall. I was referred here by my dentist because I was interested in correcting my recently shifting teeth. I called to make my consultation and was able to get an appointment within the next 7 days. Pretty quick! I set the appointment and that was that. This was my first time going to an Orthodontist so I didn’t know gets to expect. The location wasn’t hard to find. It is set in an office building just off of 610 N. Parking was free and office was easy to find. Once in the office the lady at the desk was friendly. She asked if I filled out the new patient form online? I said no I wasn’t aware of that option. I guess the person I scheduled my appointment with failed to mention that. She asked for my insurance and it’s my fault I didn’t have my dental info with me. I just thought they could get the info from my dentist. Which she said they could. I didn’t wait long. I was the 2nd patient to be seen that AM. The office manager(forgot her name) took me to a room and we joked a bit on the way. She was nice. Once in the room I was instructed to lay down and to watch 2 videos about how the teeth should align and how they move and shift. She asked if I had any questions about the videos. I was good. I didn’t wait long for Dr Hall to come in. He was warm and shook my hand. He was very informative and asked if I had any questions once he explained the options they had for me. They offered Ceramic braces and Incognito braces. He said he would have the office manager go over the details with me. She came in to tell me my options which were ceramic braces 7−8k, incognito 9−12k, or hybrid incognito on top ceramic on bottom roughly 9k. They also do a bone procedure that perforates the bone and moves the teeth quicker along with braces. Wow! I have to say the cost was shocking! I didn’t make a decision then but was told I could go ahead and do my impressions of the teeth. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. I should of asked. I did the impressions with the Dr. and the tech. That cost me 82.00 outta pocket. Then they says they could schedule my 3DCT scans for braces and that was another 375.00 out of pocket. Geeez! I said no. Because I wasn’t sure what I was going to do yet. I paid and was given a brochure with my options no brake down of cost. I asked again for the $$$ and wrote it down in the brochure. After much research and weighing out the options I am deciding to go with Invisalign through my dental office. Which is a better option in my case plus much more cost effective. This office does do Invisalign but, I wasn’t offered it and I didn’t ask about it. I also called my dental insurance and ½ of the impressions cost they will pay! Yay! Turns out I don’t need them for Invisalign so I’m out 40 buck. Kinda annoying but live and learn. Overall the place is nice, Dr and staff are friendly. This was just not an option for me.
