Hallabaloo

This place is awesome when you crave comfort foods (so yummy!). Each plate must have at least 2000 calories but the food is good and flavorful.
This place is great for college kids who need to have greasy carb when they wake up Saturday morning with a hang over. (I personally wish they are open earlier on Sat /​Sun but I guess people who crave this kind of food is not up that early on weekends)
And this place is fun for the parents, when they come and visit their kids at A&M. The kids can tell mom how much they miss her or grandma’s home cooked meal, and mom can feel good that their son is not starving in college.
Place is not that clean but after all it’s a diner in an outskirt of a rural college town. If you want a clean place that serves organic foods, you won’t find it here. Foods are not cheap either but considering the proportions, I guess it’s not that bad.
I do want to comment to a person who said that he felt odd stares because he was NOT wearing Longhorn apparel — that’s definitely a wrong perception. As a matter of fact, you are much more likely to get looks if you were wearing such attire or any shade of orange for that matter…
