The director is very rude and unprofessional. When I declined to enroll my child, she became very offensive and condescending. Thanks for giving me more reasons not to enroll my son and for saving me headaches.

This place is a no Brainer for us. My husband and I both have crazy schedules and at one point he was out of the country and I had three jobs. So we needed something to work with us, which admitedly we knew would be hard. Fortunately we found rene right around the corner from where we live. Heavens nest has been some stability for my son and he always comes home very happy. He’s been there for almost a year and you can really tell by the new skills he’s learned seemingly very fast. We work so much and we know that where ever we go for childcare, it’s going to be like a second home for my son and I’m really comforted knowing that he’s safe at heavens nest all day, it’s just one less thing to worry about. I highly recommend them.

Very concerned. I am a new mom, very obviously pregnant researching child care facilities. On their website this facility looks amazing. They also have flexible hours that would be great for my husband and I’s unpredictable work schedules. Today at around 2:30 pm a coworker and I tried to drop in for a site visit. When we arrived, there was only one car in the lot… what is the caretaker to child ratio? We had to ring a bell at the door and after a couple of minutes someone came to the door. She did not introduce herself or the facility and it was dark inside the foyer. We did not see any other people and could not hear any children or teachers laughing, talking or playing. We told her we would like a tour and asked if they were open today. She said they were, but the children were in the back of the facility. There was no one staffing the front desk. She left us outside in the cold and shut the door on us because she had to call the director who was not on site to see if we were allowed in for a tour. After a few minutes she came back to the door and told us that«no she could not give us a tour.» She gave us the option of filling out our contact information and said they take scheduled appointments only. I had already submitted my contact info online weeks ago and never heard anything back, so we decided to leave without leaving any info. I am concerned about any child care facility that does not allow drop in visits. What are they hiding? At the very least, it was bad customer service. Do any of you have children here? What are your thoughts? Do parents of enrolled children have access to their kids at any time of the day for drop in visits? I may still schedule an appointment and will definitely revise this review if I find that the facility is excellent and just super secure, but for now it seemed very odd to me that they wouldn’t talk to us.
