My husbands eyeglasses broke so he went in for an exam and to purchase a new pair of glasses and lenses. Although he said the dr. was pleasant after over 2 weeks they still don’t have his glasses ready. Today we called and they said it would take an additional 2 weeks! So basically over 1MONTH to get glasses! They said the problem was that the frames weren’t in stock however no one even called us to let us know. My husband has been calling weekly with no help but they have already charged our insurance and we can’t cancel without a hassle. If you appreciate and expect customer service then stay away from this office! We will never return! Still hoping we get the glasses!

I have definitely learned my lesson to schedule the first appoint of the day or the first one right after lunch. I scheduled my appointment for 10AM and I was not seen by the optometrist until 10:55. In waiting, I had plenty of time to observe that the office is tight on space. It’s slightly cluttered and the 2nd examination room I waiting in has a dual purpose of storage/optometrist office. His computer was there with patient records he was going through to prepare for the HIPAA audit. I felt sort of dirty. There was a lingering doubt of… how clean is this equipment? When I was«looking at the barn», I could feel the oils of patients past on the chin rest. The optometrist was getting people in and out and during my examination, I did not see him clean off any of the equipment. Gross. All of that aside, the optometrist, Henry Eriks, O.D., is a talkative, nice man. The reason why his appointments run late is he probably really enjoys talking and getting to know his patients. If you want to get out of there fast, don’t bring up health care reform or gun control. This place is located across the street from a retirement community and many of the clientele are from there. If you’re looking to get some Armani or Gucci frames, this is not your place. They carry Ray Ban and Shanghai Tang.
