There’s a certain sandwich chain that serves sandwiches on round bread. Hobos is much better. It’s what I always wanted those other guys’ sandwiches to be.

Amazing sandwiches, you will never have another as good as a Hobo. The Hobo original is worth coming from the other side of Texas to get. We come here as often as we can, we will actually not eat lunch at the right time if we know we will be through here anytime close to lunch.

Very good sandwich. Went with the Hobo fully loaded. Bread was awesome!!! Better than eating fresh.

Probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had and I’ve had plenty. The turkey, ham and cheese is my favorite. So much deliciousness in between two homemade slices of bread. Much love Hobo’s! Keep doing what you’re doing!

This is a must stop for the local worker. You have a choice of regular size or «large». I think they should call it Humongousourus-Rex. That’s a big ass sammich! I had a ruben the size of my head that was dope and my coworker had a roast we’d n cheese that he said was really good. A couple drinks, a couple sandwiches and a couple bags of chips for about 20.00 ain’t bad and this is good food served by the local fellers. As most things in the area are fast food or sit down trash buckets, this was a refreshing stop and some of the better food in the area. My only suggestion is that you order cheese for the Ruben. Rock on, Hobos.

First time here, dinned with the husband for lunch. I believe the owner was working the register(not that friendly, maybe he’s having a bad day) or maybe me asking him what was on the HoBo sandwich 2x put him out… the first time I asked he said it so fast I couldn’t make out what he was saying, so kindly asked him to repeat.(We were only ones in line btw. I could understand if there was a long line of people him getting frustrated) moving along. I ordered the Hobo(regular size) w/all the trimmings — turkey, ham, salami, Swiss cheese, mustard, mayo, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, onion & olives. The bread was delicious, just like all other reviews mention. I ate every single bite. Husband ordered the roast beef(large size) w/only meat and cheese(this is served w/cheddar) it too was really good! We would defiantly return if we’re in the area. Great sandwich shop– I prefer their hot sandwiches over any cold ones served elsewhere.

Great sandwich, but the staff is very rude. It’s disappointing cause the sandwiches are good.

If you want a great sandwich, that has fresh ingredients and delicious bread, this is your spot! I come here often during lunch to grab a sandwich and sometimes their soup(changes daily). Sometimes it gets crowded, so you have to wait longer for your food, but it’s worth it. I already asked, you can’t buy the bread separately… Plus they sell my favorite chips of all time, Voodoo which isn’t common. Check them out, won’t be disappointed!!!

The bread is soooo good!!! Good price! Simple menu! And clean! I would rather use drive-thru since employees(at least one… A lady) is not very nice.

We were looking for a quick lunch place close to I-10. So glad we found this place. The bread was fresh, homemade and delicious. The medium sandwich was a good size to share and not be too full, and it was less than $ 5. We all said we wished there was a Hobo Sandwich shop where we live!

We stopped by here on our way back from Dr’s visit(live in The Woodlands). Took a chance on a place we’d never heard of… best decision ever. We both ordered The Hobo-husband added peppers to his. Absolutely fantastic sandwich. Like Schlotsky’s on super-steroids. Hate to even draw that comparison b/c it’s like comparing bologna to prosciutto de parma. The bread alone was worth the $. The guy needs to open a bakery in addition to his sandwich shop. Super-friendly drive-through service. Even wrapped hub’s sandwich in separate pieces to make it easier to eat while driving. Wish these guys were closer to us! We’d eat there every week.

Wow, I’m glad i stopped by. Better than schlotzskys. This place is clean, service is fast and intelligent(subway employees sometimes cannot grasp simple concepts or questions). I ordered ham, turkey and cheddar. Hot and made with obvious care. Not falling apart, it even looked perfect. Come in, you won’t regret it.

Best sandwich spot ever. Hands down. This place should be a lot bigger than it is and should have plenty more locations.

The bread reminds me of the fresh baked bread you get at Schlotzky’s(which is great IMO). Solid sandwich shop, great for lunch. They do not offer fries(similar to Schlotzky’s), just a variety of chips as a side.

If I could give no stars and still write a review I would. This establishment is racist and will not hesitate to show it. Horrible service if you are not«white», been here a couple of times with coworkers and management was extremely rude to my African American coworker implying she was undeserving to eat at their establishment… Sandwiches are just okay but I will not support a racist establishment.

Love Independent family owned places. This fits the bill. The quintessential lunch place. Great sandwiches at a cheap price and fast service. The sandwiches are round like a muffelata sourdough bread… with chips and a drink it is less than $ 7. Had the Hobo. It had ham, turkey and a couple other meats and was packed with lettuce and tomato. I definitely got my moneys worth. Their hours are short and it is a weekday kind of place so let it be known that this services the lunchtime working crowd. Had a great conversation with the owners son who was the manager of the place. Told me it had been around for more than a few years and that the family started the restaurant over 15 years ago. He just started taking over in an ownership capacity.
