Holiday Inn Express & Suites Houston InterContinental Arpt

Excellent hotel. About 2 hours after checking in we received a call from the front desk making sure we were OK, and that everything was to our liking. I went downstairs around 11 pm to buy milk for my son and they unlocked the breakfast and gave me the milk for free. Very nice and clean hotel. I would stay at this hotel again.

I’ve stayed at this location several times because of its close proximity to the airport for one, the more I stay here the more I like it. This fairly new property is fresh and clean and the staff has always been outstanding, whether it’s the shuttle bus operator or the front desk staff I’ve alway have had a positive experience. Unfortunately the location isn’t very friendly when it come dining options if you use the shuttle verses having a car. I guess this is more apparent after dark, because there are a number of restaurants within walking distance but few that I’d care to walk to after dark so plan on using a cab or it may be possible to have the shuttle driver drop you off and pick you up if it’s within a reasonable distance.
The suites are large and are nicely furnished, the combination of nice comfortable beds and linens along with it being extremely quite makes for a good night sleep. You should let the front desk know what time you need to be at the airport so they put your name on the list for the shuttle with a time to ensure you get a seat and don’t have to wait for the next trip it takes about 30 minutes for the driver to make the round trip drive.
I would of maybe considered a fifth star but the coffee always seems to be cold or barely lukewarm no matter what time it is and it’s not the best quality unfortunately.

Very nice hotel. Large rooms. Everything was new and clean. I will definitely visit here on our next trip to Houston. The wifi was fast and easy to connect to. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel was close to stores and shopping.

Holiday Inn Express is currently going through a major re-​branding. This hotel is a perfect example. It has to be the most beautifully designed and decorated HI-​EX I’ve ever stayed at. It was a true breath of fresh air (both metaphorically and literally). Usually mid-​tier hotels have an old and funny smell. This hotel was immaculate and smelled fresh.
Bright, clean, modern, and hi-​tech. You can tell this is a new property. They run a shuttle to the airport (IAH), and it takes about 15 minutes each way. The hotel isn’t in the best area so I wouldn’t stay here on a vacation, but for an overnight layover it was fine.
The only suggestions I have for the hotel are to fix the doors so they don’t slam shut, and to have someone at the front desk at all times. It seems as if the front desk clerks liked to hide in the back room unless you made it known you were standing there waiting for them. But other than that it was a great stay.

All the staff were very friendly. Very clean and modern. Breakfast was nice. Good coffee. Bed was comfy and fresh. Overall, I’d stay there again.

This is a new hotel near Bush international airport. The Holiday Inn Express and Suites is 15 minutes from the airport. Beautiful rooms friendly staff clean environment near restaurants. The only issue was the Wi-​Fi would not work upon check-​in. The hotel has free breakfast daily, a nice workout center, and a very nice pool.
