Homewood Suites By Hilton Houston- Westchase

We booked this hotel last minute due to an emergency near by. Thing is my wife booked it the day before we were supposed to be there. We arrive a day late and we have no room. No worries! Christine arrives and saves the day. She not only was extremely well informed and helpful but she also got us booked on the spot with my AAA discount. Libby was able to give us a refund for the day that we were a no show. All in all these people get it. They know how take care people and keep them coming back and I will be back.

Good quality for the price. Nice and quiet during the weekends, if that’s what you want. 10 min drive to the Galleria.
Only small «complaint» is that the directions to the elevator are not clearly marked out, and could be confusing.

I’ve had a great few days at the Homewood Suites! Upon my arrival I was greeted by the friendly hotel staff. When I walked into my room I was surprised with how much space I had. A kitchen — complete with a stove top, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge. A desk, couch, two TVs, and queen size bed. It was so comfortable it felt just like home. They offer «welcome home» dinners Monday thru Thursday with complimentary beer and wine and also a hot breakfast every morning (bacon/​sausage, eggs, you can make waffles, etc). Overall it was a great stay and I will be staying there again if ever in the area on business again.

I have stayed in 3 locations in this area in Houston — all within a mile of this location.
I have stayed here since August 2013 and will more than likely stay here till July of 2014.
My stays range from 4 nights, 10 nights and every now and again 19 nights. There are plenty of families who have short and extended stays for those of you who travel that way. I would bring my family here.

I do occasionally dine in house however my schedule and meetings usually prevent me from participating.
Plenty of off property options for dinning close by from fast food to 5 star dinning.
Shopping, target to high end shopping malls and also at least 3 different supermarkets.
To top that all off, IF you have an issue with your stay, every employee at this property handles the resolution timely and professionally. I can count on one hand the interruptions in my stay here and that says tons given I have been here at least 5 months and choose to return.
Tracy, the GM runs a tight ship and every person on her team is an asset to this property, EVERYONE! My only rub and its not a complaint, just my personality, everyone says welcome home with that «I like working here smile» and is truly interested in you having a great stay. So if I am in a bad mood and want to stay in a bad mood and avoid that, I use the side door ;)
I am the highest level with 2 major hotel chains and next to highest with 1 other, yes I sleep in a bed where I do not pay the mortgage on average 18 nights a month. I know a thing or two about hotels and am very very picky LOL

Stayed here on 9÷20÷13. Check-​in was fast, efficient, and friendly. Our room was immaculate, and smelled fresh (hate hotel rooms that smell musty or stale!) Bathroom was spotless. All of the amenities in bath and kitchen were present, including the HH items.
Breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit and plenty of items for someone who has to be GF. Also included to-​go containers for those guests in a rush.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this place from Sunday through Friday and it was nothing but awesome. There is complimentary breakfast and dinner (yea you read that right). Thursday night was burger bar, Wednesday night was pasta and meat loaf. Breakfasts always cereal, bagels, yogurts and also some freshly cooked stuff that morning which changes. My room was gigantic (I didn’t even touch my kitchen), had two TVs, AC worked great.
My wifi (which was complimentary) connection was pretty slow but I just assumed that’s always like that (because you can’t really complain about free wifi since its… You know, FREE). I talked about the issue with the guy at the front desk during check out. Turns out, I should of mentioned since their wifi is supposed to be faster (speed was 300Kbps up and down which is hard to watch YouTube on).
The staff is really friendly, they have a small shop with great prices for stuff you need /​forgot (I forgot my toothbrush).
I will be staying here again if I come to Houston.

How was my stay here? Well, lets see: I had to swipe my room key about 10 times each time before the door would open, I almost got attacked by some careless guest’s loose dog in the stairwell and it scared the be-​Jesus out if me! I was so scared I ran to the housekeeping lady down the hall lol! She called management thankfully. And what else? I got harassed by a toy cop while trying to get my walk on and wound up at a nearby business. I wasn’t even doing anything wrong and he harassed me then tells me to have a nice day. Whatever! You have a nice day chump! The breakfast wasn’t good. The fan in the suite is so old that you can hear the engine when it’s on, so I eventually turned it off so I could sleep. So, Im not off to a great start here. Maybe at some point I can give the hotel another chance, but prob wont be anytime soon when there are obviously better and SAFER choices out there for the money.

A wonderful hotel great staff with a perfect location

I’ve had a couple great stays here — I love suites when I’m on the road. It gives you a more homie feel. There is a TV in the living area as well as in the bedroom. You can close off the doors between the living and bedroom areas if you’d like.
The Kitchenette is a plus.
Everyone was nice.
The rooms are a nice size.
Housekeeping did a good job.
Work out room is not good.
They have an indoor pool and jacuzzi.
They have free breakfast, free wi-​fi, and free dinner M-​Thursday nights (i.e., chicken strips or Chuy’s enchiladas) along with wine and beer. I will definitely come back here!!!

Staff are always attentive to needs of guests. Nice home away from home. Only negative, hallways are extremly hot.
Clean, friendly, nice dinner menu and breakfast.
