WORSTBANK I HAVEEVERDEALTWITH! I ordered a new debit card on the 28th of June and was told it would be there in 7 – 10 days. I called back on the 10th of July and was told they hadn’t even ordered the card until the 6th of July and that it would still be there by the 10th of July. I called back on the 11th when I still hadn’t received my card and was informed that it had been lost but I would be receiving one on the 16th. I got a phone call today, July 15, that my debit card was at the bank. I drive an hour to the credit union to pick up the card. Get home and try to pay my bills, which are all late, and it says it’s declined. I call back and find out they gave me a card that had been blocked and there is nothing they can do to un-block it and that I should be receiving a new card hopefully by the 19th but it could be after. Needless to say I am canceling my account with Houston Highway Credit Union. They are unprofessional. They are liars and they have no idea what it going on. I should have known when I first opened my account and asked for a direct deposit form and they gave me the wrong form TWICE!!! Everyone who works there is incompetent. Please do not bank with them and save yourself the headache I’ve had to endure the past month.

I just started banking with them and I love their customer service and their services. I switched over from a big bank and now I’m much happier. I can use my debit card at almost any ATM and not worry about the fees and I love my mobile banking app.
