I love this YMCA. The thing that really put me on to it was the child care area that’s bright and active for children.
They’ll work with you to lower your monthly membership if you bring in a pay check stub to show how much (little) you make. Ordinarily it’s a $ 50ish fee but I’ve had mine reduced to $ 40 a month.
The staff is friendly, the facility is clean, and there are a nice number of machines to choose from. The only downside is the lack of space to lay down mats for doing your ab workouts and what not. But you can usually find some corner to wiggle into.

Very FRIENDLY staff and clean facility! My husband and I love working out here and seeing everyone’s smiling faces. Even the patrons are nice. I highly recommend this gym.

Pros: clean, newer facility, LEED certified
Cons: cardio machines are turned off 55 – 65 minutes before closing. I asked why and was told its ‘A process’. Don’t expect customer service at this location.
Overall. Fairly nice, clean facility for a brief (very brief) workout if you can’t make it during normal business hours. Take their posted business hours and deduct am hour or so. Maybe select another location if you choose the one-location only fitness package.

I will never step foot in this overpriced unprofessional gym. They are not customer focused At All just a expensive waste of space. I guess since there in a black area they feel they don’t have to treat customers with exceptional service. I would rather see a 24 hour fitness in that space which is where im going as soon as I can. Dont underestimate the power of black dollars. I now know why people around here say they don’t care to have a membership with this YMCA. Get it right you are not to big to be shut down someday.
