These folks think the only way an IPL is successful is if they bruise your face badly enough to keep you indoors for at least three weeks while you heal. I used a Groupon for two IPLs and both were okay. When I renewed for another two, it was horrible; both times I came away bruised, but the second time the wand was turned up to high because I told the «technician» that I had only one bruise from the previous session. Really horrible and very frightening that they have the potential to do such damage — and probably more. I now go to Metropolitan Laser Institute and it’s like night and day in their professionalism and skill.
