Imagination Campus

My 2 year old was at this school for only 2 days before we started looking for a new school. The reasons are
On the first day I wanted to ask the director some questions about the daily schedule and the teacher to student ratio but found her to be very defensive and abrupt.
The website indicates that they have video camera monitoring available for parents to view live online but this is only working for the infant classrooms and not available for the 2 year old and up classrooms.
On the second afternoon I went to pick up my son to find that they were having dominoes cheese pizza as an afternoon snack. Now I’m not one of these super healthy parents but I still don’t think that dominoes cheese pizza is a good afternoon snack when there are so many better alternatives available, maybe fruit?
Overall the classrooms are untidy. There were cardboard boxes piled on desks, iphone cables and just generally disorganized classrooms.
The enrollment paperwork mentions a parent handbook but this was not provided until we requested it. In the parents handbook it said that parents should be provided with a written report at the end of each day but we never received a written report which I thought was an especially important thing for a new student.
On a positive note it is obvious that Imagination Campus has a significant focus on education and that they have some significant and developed programs for education. There are music classes, science classes as well as many different language options and the teachers appear to be well qualified and professional. They also have a good sized outdoor area considering there is limited space available in the downtown area, but there is very limited shade in the play area.

I’ve had my child in this location since she was 12 months and my child is loved and is learning beyond measure. Not only am I employed by this company (since 2009) but I would not have my child any other place. We seek to hire the most qualified teachers and caregivers MUST love children. Between Spanish, Mandarin, music and art my child’s day is filled with so much. Whether it is her reciting her numbers in another language or telling about our solar system I know for sure that my child is engaged, learning and being loved on.
Imagination Campus has shined a new light on childcare and if you don’t believe me stop by and see for yourself!

We love this place! My daughter has been there for 5 months now and has already learned so much. They do a great job of creating a nurturing atmosphere that encourages exploring, sharing, physical activity, and learning. She now communicates effectively with «baby» sign language. Her teacher is fantastic and my daughter gets so excited to see her every morning. I love that Imagination Campus provides breakfast, lunch and snacks at no additional charge. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
