International Medicine Center

I picked International Medicine because it had Saturday hours, which no other clinic I was looking at had. When I arrived, there was no wait, and I was tended to right away. The clinic is ran by an Internal Medicine doctor with Fellowships in both Tropical Medicine and Infectious Disease, so you’re going to get the right treatment.
Moreover, my insurance is supposed to cover even travel immunizations. The staff was very helpful and followed up with me to find the billing codes so that I can submit the paper work to my insurance company. Time will tell if it’ll work, but they certainly have done their part to help me in this.
All in all, it was a fast process. The fees seem about standard for what other places were quoting, and they were friendly and had convenient hours. I would recommend it.

I had to come here for a physical and immunizations needed for business travel. I really liked most of the people who work here, but everything the day-​of was just slow as molasses. I guess I expected to be fairly in-​and-​out because the waiting room was pretty empty but, I digress.
Sara helped me set up the appointment — she was very polite and tried to be as accommodating as possible. I called on a Monday and there was 1 appointment left for that week so I took that.
The day-​of I showed up around 8:40 per Sara’s suggestion so that I could start filling out paperwork. They sent me straight to the lab down on the 4^th floor which was the quickest part of this whole ordeal. The ladies working the lab couldn’t have been nicer! Quick blood draw and I was out of there.
Back up to IMC — I filled out the paperwork until maybe 9:15a then waited another half hour or so before I was called back. They took all my vitals, did the hearing and vision part of the physical. Then began the FOREVER wait. It was about 11:30a before anyone saw me. Doctor Rensimer is not all that personable to be honest, and he was in there with me for a grand total of 5 min.
The RN, Miranda, was very helpful. She explained all the shots I needed, went over my history, and told me what else I need for my trip.
Overall, OK experience for a doctor’s office. Just be prepared to wait.
