«The food is better at the box, Jack in the box…» Remember that food jingle? You were probably still in diapers but in a way they are right. I love how they maintain a standard uniform way of presenting their food in a timely manner. Another good thing is there is a larger variety of foods than your standard fast food restaurant. Stink eye to you McDonalds! This particular restaurant sits behind a Shell gas station on the corner of Beltway 8 and Veterans Memorial. I usually feel spooked about coming here since there is a lot of foliage and not much lighting so be prepared to heighten your senses here. Parking is atrocious during peak lunch times, not even spaces. The only pet peeve that I really have here, and it’s on principal not the pricing but their menu prices outside differ than what you pay at the actual drive thru window. If you don’t believe me go and order the grilled breakfast sandwich and tell me how does $ 4.79 come out to be a little over $ 5.50 with tax? Personnel surprisingly is always either stoic or nice, not in a bad way but at least no negative attitudes ever found here yet. Cleanliness: The lobby for most of the part is usually maintained pretty well and that is applied to the outside grounds as well. There is a day and night difference in getting your order mixed up in a flip between here and the one equally distant on the other side of my resident(Bammel North Houston/249 location) in a sense that your order will be right 9 out of 10 times here versus 3 out of 10 times at the other place.
