Complete Quack. I tried her once and it was a truly horrible experience. First, I didn’t even want to come to the docs, but I had been experiencing strange symptoms and hadn’t had my menstrual cycle in almost 3 months even though the preg tests were negative. I’ve been vegetarian all my life and started eating fish 3 x week before I came to the office that day. I started eating eggs 5 years ago. I had come to the office after I started getting weird tingling numbness in my hands feet and abdomen that persisted 24 – 7. It was affecting my handwriting and typing for work. Thankfully there is a great doctor at this office dr. Curissa Alsobrooks. However when I arrived I had to to wait 1.5 hours with an appointment. They had me in a waiting room in the back so I was about to go ask a nurse how much longer as I wanted to make sure they hadn’t just forgotten about me. Dr pat Janki saw me approaching the desk and asked me what time my appointment was. I explained I was their for my follow up so she offered to help. wORST thing ever I should have waited for dr Alsobrooks. I am so glad there was an intern ps assistant there to document how incompetent the doc is. She told me I was probably diabetic. We had already tested with dr Alsobrooks WRONG and that I most certainly had«anxiety issues» wtf I’m not having anxiety I’m pissed. She dismissed the numbness and all my concerns. She wrote that on my records!!! She then looked at my records and made assumptions about my lifestyle and what I ate based on I guess me being Indiana d she is too. I’m petite and fit btw. I eat clean organic foods with little to no oil. Salads everyday no dressing no extras no cheese etc. my cholesterol was at 200 because my hdl good cholesterol was way high. She put a sad smiley on this page. Wtf? Then I asked her about the page where it showed my vitamin d was very low and she’d again put s sad face on the print out. She said this was nothing to worry about my potassiumand they don’t usually prescribe anything for it. To which I replied … Wait my vitamin K is low??? And she said no your potassium. So I’m looking on my report and she is wrong but the intern/pa exchanged a look with me that clearly communicated this doc doesn’t know vitamin d from K to save her own damn life. I looked up myself on the levels and chose a 5000IU daily vit d3 supplement from GNC. She had such an attitude and I’m a sweet person never ever have confrontations. I’m a people person this doc is rude and full of herself which I could handle if she wasn’t also imcompetent. Now I always make sure when I need to go to schedule with dr. Alsobrooks I would never let her substitute even if I was dying. On following visit the pa asked me about my anxiety as the doc had wrote that on my records!!! The pa apologized when I told her about my last visit and told me quietly she’s heard similar stories from other patients. I asked a few interns and the front desk about the doc and they apologized and confirmed that dr. Janki is unpopular and many other patients have an issue with her. I looked up her reviews today. 2 star rating out of 27 responses in one site. Curissa Alsobrooks 5 star reviews. I love Dr. Alsobrooks — very professional and knowledgeable, if she doesn’t know something she researched it and looks it up for me, she asks listens first and then questions and remembers me(always asks how my sister who has cancer is doing) although I mentioned it only once so she had it on family history records.

I was very pleased with the care and concern Dr. Janki had with both me and my daughter. We were involved in a car accident and needed to be seen because of the pain we were experiencing. Her staff informed us we would be able to come in as a «walk-in» but they did not want to promise any time limit. However, after only about 20 minutes, both of us were seen and treated. She was very thorough and took the time to answer all of our questions. This was the first experience for my daughter who has always seen a pediatrician and she felt very comfortable with her. I also appreciate the fact that she is close by and was able to do lab work in the office.

When you’re sick, you want fast and competent service from a good doctor. After spending over an hour calling around to find a board certified doctor that could squeeze me in on the same day, I finally found Dr. Janki listed and just around the corner from my place. I drove myself over to her non-nondescript building that I’d driven by hundreds of times without noticing and walked right in. Luckily, it wasn’t busy and even though I didn’t have an appointment, I was ushered in about twenty minutes later. Most places make you wait that long even if you DO have an appointment! Even though Dr. Janki had two med students trailing her, I never felt awkward or uncomfortable having so many people in the room. She managed to seamlessly combine her diagnosing with her teaching – always a good sign. The place itself was a little run down though clean. It wasn’t luxurious by any means, but it got the job done. While I was waiting for my test results, I could overhear her on the phone with another hospital on behalf of one of her clients. She reminded me of a protective mother out to get anyone who would hurt her cubs. Two phone calls later and evidently an apology from the other end and her client actually received an update. While this bulldog type protectiveness might offset some people, I appreciated how much she cared about her clients and their needs. The fact that she was willing to call the hospital on behalf of her clients to ensure they were kept in the loop said a lot. Dr. Janki provides a nice and small clinic for smaller needs, but don’t go in here expecting the full service. The clinic is just too small for it. Nevertheless, she is very on top of things and manages to get you in and out in an efficient manner all while being very friendly.
