Jena has been my realtor since I moved to Houston in 2011. She helped me find my first apartment and later bought/​sold my first town home and last month my first house. She is like family, goes above and beyond and has various resources at her disposal to help her buyers and sellers. You will not be disappointed!

Jena Turner is the BEST realtor out there. She is kind and cares about you and wants to get the BEST house and beat deal for you. My husband and I started to look with her, but had to hold off for a while. Jena was completely understanding and I will definitely come back to her when we are ready to buy. She is knowledgeable about the market and is 100% honest with you about everything. As a first time buyer, she will walk you through everything and answer any and all of your questions. She is prompt in getting back to you and works diligently to help you find what you’re looking for. She is always willing to work with your schedule and hers if you want to see a house. Jena helped us in both selling our home and in buying our new home. We were very pleased with the listing she put up on HAR. The professional photos she had taken of our home were stunning. It was no surprise we had an offer in just a few days. We had a difficult time in purchasing our new home due to the extremely high demand and hot real estate market. Jena was patient, worked hard, responded to us at all hours of the day and night, and helped us through over 10 offers until we found the right home. On top of it all, she was fun and pleasant to work with. When you’re spending every weekend with someone for months it’s important to have someone who not only works hard for you, but is enjoyable to be around! That’s what we liked best about working with her!

Buying Experience: we are sooooooo glad she was in our corner! We found the house ourselves (we wanted a specific area that had very very low inventory in our budget) but she took it from there. She was a tough negotiator and got us everything we could in the deal to make necessary repairs to the house. The team of Seller’s agents were a joke and extremely uncooperative, but Jena was on top of everything and personally attended the house inspections. She was always responsive and there for anything we needed (even at 9pm on Holy Saturday!). She proved to us why you hire a realtor (her specifically).
Selling Experience: Absolutely wonderful. She provided us with suggestions for staging and preparing our house for sale and had amazing photos taken for online posting. She personally followed up with the realtors after every showing. When we had an offer, she was there coaching us through the tough decisions. She sold our house after about a month on the market (and with 4 other houses for sale on my street!) for an awesome price. She was a total rock star and fantastic to work with.
We will call her first for our future Houston realty needs!

We were doing an area specific search for our house and we wanted someone familiar with the «ins & outs». Jena was courteous and helpful throughout the search.
We especially appreciated her frankness about some of the houses we had shortlisted. She was honest and backed her opinions [on property/​neighborhood/​amenities] with facts and information. She helped throughout the process even with tips on good financing and necessary paperwork.
We had a short search because we had a better than average idea of our priorities and our budgets. However, we felt that Jena would have been the same even if our search was longer. In our experience, she is good on e-​mails and texts and replies back within acceptable timelines.

I met Jena at a mutual friends birthday party and instantly hit it off with her! She knew so much about the inner loop area and at the time I had been thinking about selling my home in Katy to move closer to the city where all the action takes place. I found Jena a few weeks later through her business Facebook page and within a few hours of sending her a email we had scheduled to have lunch and talk about my plans to sell my previous home and what I was looking for in a new home. She listed my property and within 12 days I was under contract for a sales price much higher than I thought possible on my little «starter» home. Once I had a contract and knew that I had to close in 45 days we got the ball rolling quick on me finding a new home! I actually got really freaked out that I would be homeless and it wouldn’t all come together but Jena assured me that it would work out and she was right. I found the cutest town home in the Washington corridor that was absolutely perfect for a bachelorette in the city. We were able to beat out two other offers, not by upping my sales price but by Jena’s suggestion of using some creative terms to the contract that enticed the seller. It was so exciting waiting for the news that we had WON! I love living in the city and so glad I made the jump. Within my first few weeks of living in my new home Jena was inviting me to dinner and events with her group of friends so I could meet new people. Overall, I’m so glad I met Jena and feel very lucky to have used her as my Realtor.

I found Jena Turner on Unilocal and she was definitely one of the best Realtor’s I’ve worked with. When we met she immediately began asking me about what I was looking for in a rental, where I wanted to live, etc. She quickly sent me rentals that matched my needs and wants perfectly. She also began looking for houses for me since I said I was interested in buying down the road. She was excellent and worked fast to get me in an apartment quickly. She is great. I definitely recommend Jena to anyone coming to the Houston area. I will be sure to use her again when purchasing my house in the next few months.

A COMPLETE DIASTER!
I couldn’t have been more disappointed with Jena as a realtor. In a service industry built around trust and relationships, she was extremely unprofessional.
I have heard the horror stories about lazy realtors who are non-​responsive, disorganized, and who push their agenda despite the wants and needs of their clients. So I have always used Unilocal to help guide the way.
Despite the glowing Unilocal reviews that I read, I ended up with just another lazy, non-​responsive real estate agent.
**** I think that the first 4 reviews were plants since they were all done within 2 months of each other with newly created accounts. These accounts have never reviewed anything else or had any other activity whatsoever. PLEASE BE WARNED!!!****
It took Jena 48 hours to respond to my first phone call and voicemail, but when she finally responded she seemed very nice and enthusiastic about helping with my relocation. She promised to send me an email with additional information and told me she would be available to show me some places when I flew into Houston in a couple weeks. I thought everything was going well.
Then I never received the email. I politely called and left voicemail informing her that I didn’t get her email after another 48s without any contact. No response. I tried calling her office and her cell over the next 2 weeks and never heard back from her.
Not once did she check back or follow up after our initial phone call.
When I sent one last desperate text to find out if we still had an appointment, I was greeted with a call from another agent saying that Jena was too busy and that she had handed me off to another agent.
I totally understand being busy, but at least be professional enough to make the phone call or text or email yourself. Also do it right away and don’t waste the clients time.
I was lucky that I found another agent on Unilocal that did live up the reviews and I was able to have a much more enjoyable experience.
PLEASE DON’T FALL FOR FAKE AND PLANTED REVIEWS!!!
FIND ANOTHER AGENT… There are much better ones out there.

I found out on very short notice that I would be moving to Houston. I had originally gone to the Unilocal site for help to look @ its ratings for apartments & condos for lease in the Galleria area. I will be a a full time commuter, in Houston 4 days each week, & so @ times my family will be shuttling back & forth with me. The number of potential choices was overwhelming. While searching on Unilocal I stumbled across the real estate agent rental filter & thank goodness I did. Jena had 5 reviews on Unilocal,all 5 stars, & feedback that almost seemed to good to be true. I contacted Jena on a Sunday afternoon & she very promptly responded to my voicemail to begin the process of figuring out what was most important for our family’s rental needs. Over the next couple of days of working with Jena we realized our most important criteria was safety & convenience to work. I had less than 1 day to make our choice & so the quick & detailed previewing work that Jena did based on what was most important helped to reduce or anxiety regarding the move. We set an appointment & blocked out ½ day for property visits. After starting with a couple dozen choices we had narrowed the on sites to 5. It was obvious Jena had done her homework on each site since she would discuss information about the property while in route. We picked one property as our top choice but Jena said after getting an even better feel for our needs she would go back & search for more choices. The next morning Jena had identified 2 more properties to check out. I was convinced we had already found our perfect fit but given Jena’s effort I decided to view the last two. Guess what? The place we ended up with was visited on that last day. Given my time constraints I am confident that I would have never ended up with the property that perfectly fit my family’s needs. Jena’s helpfulness didn’t stop once our lease was executed. She has followed up with helpful web links & also has given us recommendations & contacts that will help us reasonably furnish our new space. THANK YOU JENA!

I found Jena through one of her rental listings. She was professional with very good knowledge of inner loop neighborhoods. She gave me excellent advice throughout the process, and was very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Jena.

My husband and I found Jena through one of her rental listings and when we went to see the property she offered to help us find a place to lease. She was absolutely wonderful through the whole process! If there was a place we wanted to see she was right on it and scheduling us as the first appointment possible. The reason we found such a wonderful house to rent was Jena. A house we loved came online in the morning and she had us viewing it by the afternoon with the application in soon after. We love our place and Jena was the reason we got it because there were many other applicants! Thanks again Jena!

My roommate and I were looking to move to the downtown Houston area and we happened to find Jena through a listing we found online. We originally were wanting to find a small house but there just weren’t that many properties available. We had a very short time frame to find something and happened to be out of town shortly before we moved and Jena took care of submitting our application to any properties that looked like they might be possibilities. Jena was great in helping us search for what was available in the areas we were looking in and also very knowledgeable about what areas were good and safe. We are two single girls (late twenties /​early thirties) and it was nice working with someone with whom we could relate and had a good understanding of the things we were looking for in a place to live, along with the importance of location. We ended up finding a great apartment that fit our needs and it was so nice to have Jena help us go through the lease signing process. She knew the right questions to ask about specials and if rent could be talked down and those sorts of things to save us money — things that I wouldn’t have had any idea about. She is honest and upfront and I felt like I could talk about the pros and cons about our options with her she was committed to helping us find a place that we would be happy in, no matter what it took. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great realtor!

When my wife and I recently moved from Austin to Houston, we were looking for a rental home. We were incredibly lucky to find Jena. We first met her when she showed us a house we requested to see. She was representing Habitation Realty — the company that listed the home. We did not end up renting the home that Jena first showed us, but liked her so much, we decided to keep in touch and do another round of viewings. Fast forward several months and we still hadn’t found anything we liked. Mind you, this was not any fault of Jena’s. We were just very picky and were looking for a home with certain features in specific areas within a particular price range. Yet Jena stayed with us every step of the way, willing to show us a newly listed home at the drop of the hat. She was always easy to get in touch with, via phone, text, or email, and really flexible. Plus, she has a great personality, so she was a pleasure to spend time with during the home search process. It took us four months to find something, but Jena never tired of showing us homes or tried to ditch us as clients. If you are looking for a rental home in Houston, I cannot recommend Jena enough!!!
