Johnson Jolly Michael DDS

I have been meaning to write a review of Dr. Johnson for many years. 32 years ago, when I was a young newlywed in Houston, I went to him for complicated work — I needed 3 bridges to replace areas where my permanent teeth had never come in. The adventure was costly, but fairly priced and the work required several long visits. Dr. Johnson told me that I could expect to keep my bridges for 15+ years. It has now been 32 years and they are as solid and problem free as they were in year one. My current dentist (Massachusetts) is very impressed. Dr. Johnson’s skills are first rate. As a bonus, he was amusing and charming during those long appointments!

I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson’s for over 20 years. My parents found him first, as he saved my Dad’s teeth from periodontal disease. My experience has not been so dramatic — unless you count that I moved 250 miles away in 1989 and although I have searched and searched for a local dentist, I keep coming back to Dr. J!
You don’t need to know ALL my local dentist fiascoes, but I’ll tell you that the latest one involved months of pain, two different local dentists, three trips to my medical doctor, a diagnosis of extremely long roots and a sinus infection — only finally to trek down to Houston to see Dr. J who was the ONLY one to actually LOOK at the x-​ray and see the GAPING HOLE IN MY TOOTH!
And he doesn’t charge much either.
